Problem with Autozone and other retail part store chains is that they'll hire any jerk off that wants a job. I worked for them for three years, I lucked out on finding work at the best store in that district. In other words, every employee in that store had a good grasp on car mechanics and troubleshooting.

Sadly, stores like that aren't around much anymore.

What, headers/hi-flo cat/cat-back isn't good enough?

It actually doesn't sound that bad in person, but it used to sound better when it had a cam in it. I think the packing in the SLP muffler is going bad though. I'd like to put another cam in it, and change the muffler and tips, but it all takes money. Money I don't have right now. I need new wheels and tires too, and I'm going to school full time.

Had to be done man. The car was fantastic but, given my position now, it had to go. The stars aligned on this and I got a great deal on it. Purchased with 3 miles on the clock.

They are good vehicles, the hemi is nice and the newer rams seem to be good quality. I'm just curious, why did you choose to go with a dodge though? I have nothing against them but I personally like GM cars myself.

I wanted to go with a cummins or a silverado. But after driving a cummins I knew it wasn't what I needed. So I drove this Hemi and liked almost everything about it. The quality of the interior Felt fantastic and the actual experience driving the car was more agile than the honda ever was. I had a great time driving the truck even though it wasn't a manual. So I went to drive a silverado. The silverados were nice, they were expensive and I couldn't get the additions I wanted for the monthly payment I was comfortable with. Dodge worked with me a lot more and game me a great discount and trade in for the honda. I didn't want to buy a truck so soon. But they had this gem just calling my name with a lot of rebates. So I pulled the trigger. I will be refinancing after 6 months to knock my payment down another 60 a month after I build more credit.

I went with the 2wd truck for the simple fact that I'm not going to be mudding the truck or going to any extreme level. I needed something that was better for the back roads and more rugged. When I'm at work I get covered in mud and oil and I didn't want to be throwing that in the trunk of G8 GT. I decided this suited my needs to exactly what I needed and was the exact look I was going for. White/Chrome with 20s. This has the new 8spd transmission in it as well. So the first 3 gears, it shifts and lot and it does have some good get up and go.

Another thing I damn near fell in love with, was the information center and cluster. You can set it up any way you want. The touch screen controls every thing. I went with the premium front bucket seats that are heated and all power. The center console has a usb charging port, usb sync, aux jack, and an sd slot. It also has a 110v dash outlet for charging a laptop if necessary. Very cool. Another thing that is rather cook is the shifter. It's weird, but I think its awesome.

Dodge has some pretty nice features available on their trucks now. I like the optional storage compartments in the bed rails, and the one on the floor inside. The air suspension they offer is a really nice feature too, and the new 8 spd trans is supposed to be nice and help out with gas mileage quite a bit. Supposedly they have a new V6 turbo diesel out now too I think?

Yeah I heard about that. I forgot what it's called, but it was out of my range and more that I needed. I wanted the ram rails, as those compartments are called, but was a $1000 feature and they would have ordered my truck. I wouldn't have been able to get the options I have on this one. So in the end, I got a better truck with out the bed storage, as awesome as that storage is. The 8 speed is quite the new thing, and I'm getting used to it. Lots and lots of shifting . But you can get about 20 mpg around town once you get accustomed to it.

Ok I learned my lesson about starting new threads, so here is the question.
Should I:
1. have my current spoiler repainted
2. Get an already black SC/T
3. Or leave my current spoiler and save for leather.

Thank you sir. I wanted a cummins so bad. But after running numbers and actually thinking about it, I wasn't about to get one. It fits in the garage!

My best friend just bought a ram with a hemi, it's the older model though (it's a 2004). I like how the center console is so big on these trucks. You have lots of room which is nice.
