LED 3rd brake light - Page 2

How do you even go about making these? It's essentially just a brake light off an impala right? Or is it a different adapter?

You need grand am housing/lense.

Impala 3rd brake light led board/wiring.

Remove stock board (3 hex screws) then either solder the wire to the brass plates on your stock board. Or just wrap wires around postive/neg brass parts. My solders wouldnt stick so I just wrapped it around. Works fine.

Then you can either silicone the board into your stock housing or just firmly push it it. I just pushed mine in and it holds snug.

Here is a look where I wrapped the wire around the stock board.
Also is a pic of the board after all taken apart. One side of the brass is postive one side is negative

I used the diffuser on mine. I tested with it and without it and I liked how it looked better with the clear lens on it.

I've got the PONTIAC overlay for it, but for some reason my center bulb always gives me grief, bulb has yet to burn out, but it stays off unless I punch the trunk lid.
