Since there are quite a few pages of this thread and I'm on my phone, have anyone of you used this nanoskin product?

With how anal people responded to my AMMO products I doubt they'll consider that Nanoskin stuff since they're both pricey.

Cool pic Eric its nice to finally get a Saturday around here above freezing

I've never heard of nor used nanocoating. I don't see whats so revolutionary about it though. Its a 3 step system that uses a random orbital polisher. Nothing new there. I will say the pads looked pretty nice for cleaning. Though I personally would not use compressed air because usually the air isn't very clean.

i have nothing against expensive car care products. i have nothing against AMMO. i don't like the ammo guy in the vidz. i think it's funny how you worship that feg. that's all.

i gave my car it's birthday bath, and clay'd, and polished with pinnacle's stuff, then finally put on a layer of the pinnacle diamond paint sealant. looks waxed. this is how it looked after arriving at sebring racetrack on friday morning.

pretty reflective stuff, for not even being waxed, or quick detailed.

Well for one I don't "worship" him, But on the other hand I don't see why you hate him, I've heard him on podcasts and watching most of his videos, hes a hilarious guy when not on camera hes actually very modest, hes even replied to all my e-mails of me asking specific questions, lets see the owner of Meguiars do that. Yall judge him one a couple videos. Don't judge the guy before you actually KNOW him.

If the guy is Bugatti's cooperate detailer and details many old collectable cars, I'll take his words on how to take care of a car.

Now I see why to give me slack and call me "AMMO man/guy" or w.e, because you think I worship him? hah. I wanna be different then others instead of using the same common sht everyone else uses, if I can use something different and works just as well if not better I'll take that route.

Ammo is great stuff but for way less money my paint looks just as good as yours with meguires products. Honestly. I excessively use my cleaning/waxing products. I go through normal wax and quick wax very quickly. Quik wax lasts me a max of 2 weeks. Most of the time im out in about a week. The car gets cleaned alot. Its never dirty. I just cant justify paying 60 a week or more on wax from them with how much I use the stuff. Call me crazy. But idc. I like my sht clean 24/7

There is a product I might give a shot one day called zaino though. Apparently its a buildable wax. The more coats. The deeper the shine.

You're right, your paint is goofy. BTW I use Megs Ultimate compound, polish, and liquid wax. The only AMMO stuff I use is his tire shine, wheels cleaner, paint hydrater, and paint spit. I'm using the "cheap" products for now since I still have Megs solution left in my bottles.

Just the same as people will use Mothers or Chemical guys, in the end you can get the paint looking the same, its just about personal preference. It would be boring if there was no variety in the world, there are many detailing companies who have products that do the exact same thing, but others feels its better.

Oh okay. I didnt know you only used the wheel cleaner stuff.... and minimal paint things. But honestly. I just use quik wax on my wheels. Does the job and the wheels dont really have a "shine" to them so nothing worth going all out on.

My old wheels looked really good since they were black when clean. I still love my bbs wheels not really worried about having shiny wheels. Since they are a dark grey and not a gloss paint they are just clean. Not shiny

I don't really use the cleaner to get shine out of my wheels, I just use it because it gently cleans them, there is a different between car wash soap and wheel cleaner so I don't use my Megs gold class on my wheels. Wheels shine no matter what(depending on the wheel finish of course) unless you're the type who doesn't clean there car for years and gets dust caked onto the actual wheel. Quick wax doesn't have much lubrication so you MAY scratch your wheels in the process. Plus I tried that once a while back and it doesn't have a controlled enough spray so I stopped.

The product he calls AMMO Hydrate is used for drying the car and moisturing the paint while getting the water off and not scratching the paint in the drying process(sounds dumb but if you listen to his schpeal about how paint is like skin it makes sense a little bit, (to each their own.)) So in a way you could say that is for paint care. Same with the AMMO Spit, its like QD, look at it in the way when people call it "Spit shine."

These wheels by far dont scratch as easy as my old ones. I just soak a corner of a towel down with quik wax. Wipe whole wheel down with it. Then wipe with clean towel. Does great honestly. I guess it just depends on wheel finish. But these new wheels are great. Haven't had issues with scratches yet with how I clean em

I suspect you won't for a while since the clear coat is nice, new, and thick.

1. thread hijacked

2. zaino isn't as great as advertised there swirl remover isn't too much better then Megs 83, and no where near as good as M105. though there tire shine is pretty good I must admit. zaino used to be huge in the early 2000s.

3. Tanner what you fail to realize is that no matter what you say about the ammo guy, I for one will probably never much care for him. like I've said a million times on here he presents his products like there the only good products on the market. the vid where he called Megs NXT car wash "too aggressive" and implied it would strip the wax, which is total crap. so that's my problem with the guy. I understanding hyping your products but if your going to compare them with others at least be honest about it.

4. Back to the reflectiveness

What YOU fail to understand is you don't know the real cool guy he is off camera. There is a reason I said to each their own , you still judge him strictly off videos. I'm sure you're overexaggerating the NXT thing, I'm sure he wouldn't say that then go the Barry himself and hang out with him and have a good time at Megs headquarters when Barry watches Larry's videos.

Thread isn't hijacked, we're talking about detail products which contribute to reflectiveness of the paint.

If anything this thread got revived. no one posted sht.

i don't know if the wheel arches are two different heights but it makes it look like you got 2 different size tires.

never mind i looked at the body line that runs along the car and they are 2 different heights why would they do that.

I noticed a lot of Japanese cars have that. Dunno why.

Lets fund all the "American" companies that build their cars in Mexico and Canada. Derp.

FYI: my Accord was built in the US.
