I was one of those who would say, "ill never get rid of my grand am, never " With the current mods i have on my car and the parts waiting to be installed, i guess it gives that car more value, close enough to where i could have a newer, faster and more fun to drive car for just a matter of trade. But then again, yes its a Rwd v8 mustang , an"upgrade", but with a 5 year older engine and about 85k more miles than my GA.
If i ever considerer another car, i would have to keep in mind that ill never find a newer car that that i can afford and will have less miles than My GA. That i would consider a downgrade.

What I would do if I were you is finish the car, save up enough money to buy a car you actually like and want, put the GA up on blocks and baby the **** out of it and make it show car worthy.

the GA is what it is, and I guess the mustangs are too. I'm just not a fan of them, but I do agree on several points in here

1> you have a MUCH newer motor, which weighs heavily for your GA.
2> 120K isn't all that bad anymore on an engine... but
it's a mustang and it's been boy racer'd all over hell and back those 120K miles, you'll be throwing parts on it to make it right, BEFORE making it yours.

that's my .02

Bone stock is not a bad thing. You don't have to undo crap work to turn around and do it again. In the long haul it can make life way easier... not always a bad thing

At the end if the day, it's a 99 grand am se. That has a motor swap (no offense, no idea of the quality of work done to the or the swap). That has seen the elements. And he is willing to trade with an unmolested car that has been garage kept.

I still say trade.

Yeah 60s mopar had them. Not 90s crap box cars. What ever point you were trying to make is invalid, and your car doesn't look or perform anything like a mopar.

Your statement was bad and you should feel bad. Just go away.

ooo, da whiz kid there doesn't get the point, yet he "knows" it to be invalid...

and he actually owned a musclecar in the 60's and knows what that was like....

and still can't keep from sticking around and bashing N-bodies, even though he "moved on" to better things

Hey, fuckhead, did it ever occur to you that a lot of us stick around because we enjoy the forum itself? Unlike you, apparently, we like coming back because of the people and entertainment here.

Do us all a favor, drive your shitbox wannabe "60's muscle car" Alero to the nearest retirement home, renew your AARP card and stick to trying to remember where you put your walker.

Stupid old fuck.

I'm here for the entertainment.

I could make a rebuttal, but it have learned your level or reasoning today. Or should I say, lack there of.

O Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. I sure hope you're not expected to do anything important or requiring thought where you are.

Sure looks like spring needs to get here, so we can all get outside and away from each other.

Children, do you need some time out time in the corner?

I'm gonna go cower and wait for Molson to come in with the whooping stick again
