Did the same thing a long time ago with my UIM. It was a blue paint non high heat. Mixed high heat clear with it. And it was solid for 3 years before I went ported uim/lim still to this day the paint has held up
car needs to leave the garage and be driven for the calipers to heat up

you can get the calipers powder coated too. cost bit more than paint but will last and get different colors made that paint doesnt have in high temp...

also make sure they get re-installed correctly
