Clean tires look better than shiny black tires, and you don't get the tire shine flinging up everywhere. I liked to wipe on a little tire shine while the tires were still wet, they just looked like a new tire at that point.

I don't go overboard with tireshine like I used to but I'll say what the Junkman says. Tires are supposed to be black, not grey, even the cleanest non shined tires look grey sometimes.

I know you had fun detailing her dont lie

Thanks man. As always thanks for the buff. Cant really put into words how appreciated I was that day and to this day. Soon enough ill break down and buy myself a PC.

But yeah she still shines like a champ. Even before the buff she did. I work my ass off on my paint. And it definitely shows it haha.

Bad pictures, but after using 205 and a final finishing pad:

I think it's time for wax finally.

very nice man. I don't know why, probably the lighting, but inside pics seem to give better reflections then natural light outside.

Probably since it's a more controlled light source, so the camera isn't trying to find a focal point as much. I haven't driven it more than a few miles since Christmas time, so I'm excited to get it out and running (gotta get the AC fixed though). I haven't hand waxed it in probably 2 years

i agree
Are you still doing detailing on the side, or did you give up on that venture? What are you using for a buffer?

gave up on that venture a long time ago. buffer was a PC7424XP. you cant tell in the pics but that paint is really trashed. theres scratches and swirls the megs couldnt take care of. on the hood, the clear has started to chip in some spots. its bad but ive made the best with what i was given

Yup, no wax at all (other than the properties of 205). Not bad for not picking up a buffer (other than a 2 minute test on my oxidized Nova) for 2 years (I did a quick buff before quitting the detailing shop I worked at, which is when I put butter wax on the car).

i think I might Mac great idea. here is what one can accomplish using Megs Nxt car wash soap that's "too harsh", and not your products.

in all seriousness I'm yet to clay, polish, or wax my g/a. the escape got its first clay yesterday and was going to get a polish until my father in law needed some help. so I sealed it up with some Klasse All in one. I'd post pics of it, but its not a g/a. and its white, so reflections are not as easy to show on camera as the red.

thanks mac

I was going to but ended up working on prep'ing and painting my f-body calipers. If this coming weekend can get in the 60s I'll probably work on detailing my car. My interior is bad as well I have to pressure wash my floor mats and vacuum out my carpeting and seats?
