Finally tossed on my 5mm spacers on the rear of the Accord. Pics will come tomorrow when I clean up both the Accord and Galant tomorrow.

From what I've been reading. Going with 243 heads with perimeter bolt covers, an LS6 intake and torquer v3 cam is a great street set up with a tune and exhaust. So I might look into that more.

it's a far cry from the old gagt world of modding isn't it?
so many choices... remember it's still a GM , so anything you do is going to be an improvement.

just remember.... with my cutouts i can literally be "straight pipes" loud and "stock" quiet 3 seconds later. and on a G8gt, the stock mufflers really are silent. if you only need 1 3" cutout, it's about $180 shipped iirc. comes with the Y pipe and everything else you need to install and wire it up.

^look at me, i can't stop writing about it. i luv muh cutouts!

No kidding. I the options are damn near endless on what to run for the car. I want to do it right and do a FAST 90/90 and a big cam and legit heads....But I'm not building a race car. That's why I'm more leaning to 243 heads and LS6 intake with a good cam. Might make 40ish less horse power, but the bottom end can remain stock and I can save damn near 2-3k on part costs.

the doug's style cutouts on my g8 are absolutely sealed and silent when closed.

It will be cleaned as soon as this round of storms passes by. I have no garage to keep her clean during the rain. I wish I could let her be like Sleepy's and never leave the garage and always stay shiny clean. I will also reposted once I get her all cleaned and buffed out.

They hit the county north of me. Looked cool going over head, but everything here is in tact.

For now.

A lot of people don't know that MN gets a bunch of tornadoes. We are known for our snow I guess. In 2010 MN had more touch downs than any other state that year. It's nuts. 48 in one day!

I want to move to a place away from mother nature disaster. Lol I could care less about wind and heavy rain. But tornadoes and hurricanes. No thanks. Ive already made the decision. If there is a tornado warning for my area. I will literally watch for it. If its coming for me, I will pull my car out of the garage and leave ill choose hail damage over my car being thrown 2 miles. Atleast hail damage is fixable.

In all reality though, I would love to be a storm chaser and chase tornaodes. I find them very interesting.

The weather is crazy in minnesota today. Well it is everyday, but today is horrible. Like 50 mph winds, freezing rain. School lost power for a few hours.

In all reality though, I would love to be a storm chaser and chase tornaodes. I find them very interesting.

Odds are higher of you getting very expensive and possibly NOT fixable hail damage than they are of your garage getting hit or your car being picked up by a tornado. Usually they get flipped. Winds aren't usually strong enough to actually pick up and throw a 3000 lb car.

Also if you would rather go out and drive when there is a tornado coming than seek shelter you're a moron. Your car is NOT more important than your life!

But anyway, that's one thing I like about living in MI. Our roads suck and sometimes it's overcast and gloomy here for long periods, but as far as natural disasters go it's actually pretty safe. We get a few tornadoes but nothing like the central states. Of course, the six years I was in FL we never had a major hurricane either, and the area I lived in was not in the typical hurricane path and statistically had a very low chance of being hit by one.

Meh. Its avoidable. Lol

Usually there is hail when a tornado is close. All you have yo do is leave before it gets to close. Lol

Plus depending how strong the tornado is. Id rather leave then stay here and die. Lol
