Just makes a good excuse to get an SC/T spoiler. My paint is messed up on my stock spoiler which is what I am using as an excuse for me to get an SC/T spoiler, just waiting for a good deal to show up on one that's near by.
Edit: Tanner beat me to it |

Spoilers and mirrors are doing it on my GA. Easy pieces to remove and repaint, but still sucks.

Linear springs are quiet different than progressive. I'm not going into a huge debate about it, but several of the cobra mustangs on modded mustang forum have done it and have not had any problem with them. If done correctly it doesn't seem to screw with the suspension at all.
Regardless, I'm not doing it to my mustang. |

I'm finally losing the clear on the top of my mirrors. That sucks. Another note... why does everybody sell black SC/T spoilers?
![]() If any one picks up or has an extra red one laying around I will trade. I would love to save on paint.

I don't care if some retard on a mustang forum did it and hasn't crashed his car yet. It's still wrong. There is no "correct way" to cut springs, regardless if they are linear or progressive. Besides the point that it's hard to measure and cut off the exact amount, and they won't sit in the pockets in the spring perches correctly anymore, most people also cut them with something like a die grinder, which makes heat and affects the temper of the spring. Another big point is that if you change the length of the spring that way you are still changing the effective spring rate as installed from what it was before, and you have no idea what that rate is.

No idea but curious. Would clamping the springs work and be safer? Like somehow clamp two links in various points?
