well my car has become too unreliable over the years.. time to move on sadly. Looking at selling my GA and either going back to toyota or maybe go to honda.. sadly ill join chaos if i do this but i need a car that doesn't leave me stranded every 2 months.

My work site for the summer is going to cause my car to be filthy all the time. The company I work for is building a new factory and they placed me at the new factory for the summer to get the place ready.

I will swear by hondas all day long. And like chaos says, depends on your budget. You can always pick up 04-05 civic for 3-4k and will last you for a long time. If you can afford a bit more, you can look into a nicer accord.

Well this wasn't leaking at all before that rock....

Getting the car on a lift tomorrow and going to check out the drive shaft and rear end. Going to see if the driveshaft has a dent in it that potentially could cause a problem. Also going to pop the diff cover off to see what's going on in the rear end and obviously replace this leaking gasket.

It really sucks to part ways with the GA. I love the car dont get me wrong but all of the stupid problems that have been happening ive spent way too much on fixing the car. Need something reliable, might be picking up an accord, civic or corolla tomorrow or this weekend

You'll like the upgrade and fresh start.

You'll get more money selling it yourself, but it could be more of a challenge.

How is the markup that dealers throw on used cars? I looked on some of their websites and looked rather pricy.

I did see this on craigslist. http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hn...467356674.html

They mark up hondas like crazy, because that's what a lot of people want is eco cars. So you'll pay a premium for a honda any dealership.

That is terrible luck if it tagged the prop shaft (although better than coming through the windshield at speed...). If that leak was in fact the result of a road hazard strike damaging the driveshaft, carefully inspect for damage to the yoke, pinion bearings, et al; that leak may be the pinion seal and not the inspection cover. While under there, check for any damage to the slip yoke at the trans and the trans extension housing.

What about this one? Not a bad price. Was in an accident but fender was replaced and ill check the frame and suspension and make sure everything is sound. Just gaining interest and asking questions to the seller

That's the plan. Once it's on a lift I'll have the leverage I need to identify problems more easily.

It has a salvage title. Move on from this one.
