gtsouth Gettin' there
Okay big plans for my car within the next month. Wheels, tires, brakes, suspension, new speakers, fog lights, maybe new tail lights and get my passive key less and push button start installed. This is for starters. There will be a few other things here and there. My spoiler is going to get painted as well. Of course I would like to get the SC/T kit and exhaust but that might be next year. Go team red!! .

While some final decisions are made and parts are arriving to fix Lana, I decided to take care of the truck. Saw a thread of a guy that took a clay bar to his brand new ram and he got a ton of crap off the truck. So I decided to clay bar the truck and give it a good wax and wash. Here are the end results. Still learning the tricks of the the whole paint care thing. As soon as I parked, the sun came out in force. So obviously, the pictures don't do it justice.

Looks good tip. You cant have nice things without learning to take care of their exteriors

It's far easier when you have a garage especially. Don't know how anyone can live without a garage .

Found a local shop that specializes with Hondas. Full shop with three lifts as well. I nabbed some red H emblems since I've been wanting a set. $80 for the pair, not bad considering the list prices from Honda. Looked up the part #, both are the rear emblems for the FD2 Civics.

Can't hide from that. They are JDM emblems, technically. Honda doesn't sell Type R models in the US.

90% Complete we ran into a snag with the rear bumper and he couldn't do much since we didn't have the tool to get it off, rear bumper and lip will be put on Wednesday though. Doesn't look bad atm.

Kept the front badge and black molding trim off to see if I want to make the door cladding piece red or match the kit with it and have it black. So ignore the fact that its all still red. I'm leaning more towards all red. And the side is like 1/32" lower then the door cladding, apparently thats how most SC/T kits where so thats that, don't notice until you stare at it for a while though, not to mention since the molding becomes black on the cladding it makes it stand out a little more.

Might get the cladding painted as well, looks off next to the brand new paint, and I would lower it as well.

Comparison on how my older bumper looked compared to new.

Oh yeah and a comparison with my mirrors from now and then

Looks nice so far. Dont scrape that front lip! Ive noticed on most cars that add a lip like that on a bumper thats the first thing that gets destroyed because of how close to the ground they can be.

IMO you need more black now. The headlights look out of place. Having a mainly all black light and then red everywhere is just weird to me. Not trying to sound trashy. I like your car. Just needs more black, not alot. But just a smidge more. Or the headlights need to be done a different route. But thats just my opinion.

I wonder how gloss black side mirrors would have looked on your car instead of red to help tie in with the headlights.... hmm...

Black mirrors? No. Just no.

And I don't see at all what you're talking about the headlights
