when i bought the first subaru years ago i tried wet sanding the hood since the lady who owned it before me from the looks of it decided to use a shovel to clean snow off the hood and left some big ass scratches behind.. it helped a little bit but they were super deep so i just went and got a hood off an outback..

that was the first and only car i had to wetsand.

it rained at work today so I took a couple of pics of that fiesta I waxed Friday. not the greatest shots, it was pouring and I was under an awning so I couldn't get too close, but here ya go

Figured as much.. doesnt sound bad. Dont know if ill get to that this year and if I dont ill hit hou up next spring..

I gotta get new pads but I have the rest of the stuff..as it sits now the paint doesnt look oike it would need a lot of correction. The very front of the hood needs some love but it does take all crap.

This weekend im at least going to try and possibly clay bar the glass and rain x it. Gonna test the whole clay bar on glass on the old legacy. I know you can do it but id rqther try on something I dont care about first.

Gave it another coat of wax after a wash. Really fast and easy seeing as I didn't have to wax half my car because of the new paint.

Its parked on pavement... in a parking lot. Thats just the grass in front of the lot. I bent down to take that pic. My car doesnt go in grass unless its family yards. Idk if there is nails and what not in other areas unknown

plus driving through grass makes a car super dusty.
