4th annual G8 extravaganza this weekend in west palm beach! had about 80 g8's. even a VF holden ute!

a spirited drive on a 2 lane road through the everglades.... i was in the "slow" group

at the north end of lake okeechobee, getting in line for the professional photographer group photo

back at the hotel, everyone surveying the damage from the spirited drive. splitters fell off, my headliner came down at 100 mph. lowered cars bottomed out on the railroad tracks.... that drive took a toll

30 minutes before the car show/ judging contest officially started

yes, i plasti dipped my stuff orange.... but i had no problem finding mine in the crowd!

back home

Mac no offense- but I don't really like the orange. There are some appearance changes that look decent, but IMO this one does not. It looks kinda out of place, especially for a nicer car such as your g8. An cheap appearance change to an expensive car sounds a little out of place.

basically, White is the most common paint on G8's. and black rims are the most common thing you see on white g8's, so i made mine stand out. some people love it, some... have no taste ! but i did it just to be different.

let's face it, chicks dig r!ce

oh, and this was actually toned down from what i had planned!!!

Yeah I read it. Don't like the look regardless of whether it stays or not. Even after he takes it off, that doesn't change the fact that it doesn't look good IMO.

Most of the time I read posts. Once in a while I will miss a part and comment on it. I will then either delete my post or edit it. So unless I seem way-out-of-line, just assume I read the post I quoted. Ok?

Congrats. You totally missed the point.

I never assume anyone fully reads anything around here because they usually don't. Especially when they make pointless posts that disregard the purpose of what someone did. He doesn't care if you or anyone else thinks it looks good because that wasn't the purpose.

I wouldn't leave it on there either, but for a one time event like that it's kinda cool/funny. Reminds me of the color scheme on the old real-time racing touring cars and the old Honda-Mclaren F1 car... but I know that was before your time. :P

They are just placed over stock, so they don't look right. But just a preview.
