From last night. Met another Accord owner I've known through the Accord forums and groups for awhile now. He's on airbags, has the OEM wheels off the +2013 Genesis coupes and it's painted a funky plasti-dip pearl blue. He has the front lip I want too.

Why is there a silver Outback sitting next to the blue Accord?

Yeah good thing I didn't need to sell my car because it has never eaten 20 gaskets a year, nor has the exhaust rusted out from it, nor has the cat clogged.

Explain that to all the ones that end up in the scrapyard, but hundreds of 7th gen Accords keep muscling along.

That 4x4 status on your car really bugs me, specially next to another accord on air bags.

Oh well, mine is still chugging along. You just have a grudge against GAs just because yours was one of the worst in terms of maintenance when there where plenty others that are running fine.

I don't "hold a grudge". They're not good cars, you may have the oddball one that isn't giving you issues, but that doesn't change how many of them WERE garbage. Not just from my seven years of living and fixing my own, but dealing with them in the repair trade.

Like I said, there's a reason why there's not many left.

It's kinda funny.....I was inspecting my rear suspension a few weeks ago and I broke one of my OEM rear swaybar brackets. So given enough time, an upgraded RSB will break stock brackets.

Well I've heard the brackets from Energy Suspension are no better but I'm sure the OEM ones last you a while.

Interesting. Of course your car sees a lot of track time correct?

The ES brackets are worse when you consider having to cut/grind part of the bracket so that it will fit, then bending the bracket into the slot. I'd gladly replace a stock bracket rather than modify theirs and hope it lasts.

Sadly, no, but it still handles pretty well.
I haven't been on a track in probably 8 years.
I'm just another old slowpoke.

I never liked the SB brackets on these. They can be a real pain to get bolted down, especially with stiffer poly bushings. I always wished they were a little beefier and bolted down on both sides instead of having the tab on one side. But, they were adequate for stock sway bars and bushings, and of course GM isn't going to over design them for unintended usage.

Except for that part about always lifting the inside rear wheel when I pull into the driveway.
