I've got an account over on ForeverPontiac too, but almost never pop in there. I just don't have time for multiple forums right now. I spend too much time on the internet as it is.

Did a little photoshoot with me and my friends SHO. I'll upload more later, trying to watch Netflix while uploading 23123 pictures makes it slow.

They're literally out. I took them out so my headlights could get enough ventilation. There is a little hole for a vent behind the reflector side but that wasn't big enough so my headlights would fog up a little on a 40-50 degree night after my headlights have been on. There is virtually no other way besides that to get more ventilation, drilling another hole would get shavings inside the housing and I can't take off the lens so yeah. Regular reflector black housings never fogged but they also had more room inside the housing(no projector) and less heat without a projector.
Worked though, not fogging up at all anymore, I can "officially" keep my headlights in without taking them out multiple times a month. Didn't matter much anyway, those are a useless running lights that never did anything. Not to mention the LEDs that where in there where a darker orange then my LED turn signals also they didn't reflect out much light anyway. Think it looks better TBH. I know there are supposed to be lights there and yet it doesn't bother me which says alot since im anal and OCD If I could take the lens off I'd paint that area flat black but yeah, ![]() Fixed alot of things last week, no more fogging headlights, sway bar noise is gone, and headlights get power from the battery rather then relying on the cars harness which would fail to power up the passenger side every now and then.

Love the old SHO's. Hope it's a 5-speed. The Wilwood front brakes are awesome.
And the Grand Am looks good too.

My projectors never fog. You probably didn't have them sealed up properly, letting moisture get in. There shouldn't be ANY holes going into the housing. If you let moisture get in there, then the lights heat it up, it makes the chrome peal off. If you had them sealed before and they were getting moisture in, you probably had a leak somewhere. Possibly the rubber/foam gaskets around the bulb sockets are getting old/loose and need to be replaced. Or the lens wasn't sealed well enough?

I agree - the boxy SHO's were nice. Wasn't really a fan of the 96-99 SHOs though.

I dont have my parking lights in either thats kinda why I asked. I use to have those anzo projector headlights or whatever and I cut off the bulb harness (for the halo sht). Now I have black housing regular headlights with original protective tape covering up that hole. My problem now is after about a year with them the driver side is gettin water fog all over the lens inside. :/ idk. Besides that I'm waiting for china to ship my ddm, so I gotta not have this fog maybe the tape fell off! |

Went on a cruise with the SW Trans Am group. About 10 miles before we got to this spot, noticed my oil pressure was strangely low. Looked under the car and there was bit puddles of oil under the oil filter and down the bottom of the car. Thinking the gasket on the oil filter is shot and it pissed oil everywhere. I'll look at it when it cools off. But was a great time. More pictures later.
