Picked up the transmission yesterday.
EP LDS, 2300-2500 Stall converter.
EP actually took my stock TC and bored it out and built it. I forgot the 'type' it is.. ill find out..
They also modified one of the torque converter lock solenoids. Instead of a gradual lockup (10%-100%) they made it on off, so technically its either 100% or 0% locked.
They put a 4T65 pressure regulator to give me a bump in pressure.

Total cost for trans: $4157 ouch...

I have pics but no time to put them on photobucket and ect.. any other, simpler picture upload ideas are welcome.
I am still deciding on what oil to run.
Putting a new rack and pinion in.

Have an appt at the dyno shop on halloween day to tune so it will run. Then taking it to the tranny shop. they want to check and see how that On-Off lock-up is working before it gets on the dyno.

Getting excited!!

Motor and tranny are back together with the wiring harness on.
Should go in Saturday, depending on how I treat myself tomorrow!
Happy Halloween

OK the car is in my driveway.. Totally towed it from my dads shop to here.

Here is my only problem right now...
I put the wiring harness on, I cant find the connector that goes the the crankshaft position sensor. ('back' of the block dead center.)
I am completely lost on where it could be. It seems like it would be on the loom that comes between the back of the block and trans.
That loom also has like a speed sensor on the tranny, the low oil sensor and one other thing. I got so mad just waiting to put the motor in I said Eff it and put the motor in!
So Simple, But So STUPID!!!!!!
I have one more connector to find for my ignition. Also...
Still have to mount the fuse box, pull the connectors in for the ECU, mount the battery tray, CV axles need to go in, power steering lines, need an alignment.

Crunch time!

I kinda made myself stick to a plan. Stuck between two options. Being in Utah I guessed freight would have been ~$300.. I still think what if and its not even running yet! The struggle is real...

The wire for the 7x crankshaft sensor on the back of the block connects to the coil pack. It is a 2 wire line that is yellow and purple.

^This.

That wire is not part of the wiring harness. It's a completely separate piece that goes direct from the 7x crank sensor to the ignition module under the coil packs. There is a clip that holds the wire on the bracket for the coolant hardline (for the heater core) that is bolted to the side of the cylinder.

I found that wire!! Stoked! Headers go on today and need to be custom fabbed.
Im going to run a stand-alone wideband, have a v-band welded to the bottom of the headers, and have the pre-cat O2 sensor moved to it reads both banks.

All put together!
Just have to connect the power steering lines to the rack and hook up the trans cooler lines.
I am going to modify them and add another cooler after it comes out of the radiator core.
The rear headers arent on yet. got some welding to do..
Once the exhaust is done it goes to the shop to get tuned!!

Im having trouble sleeping at night. :/

Yeah that is 3"

Exhaust is done with V-Band clamp at the bottom of the headers and I had another O2 sensor welded in for sandalone wideband.

HELP!!!!!!!!!

I have one connector I dont know where it goes.
Its at the end of the loom the connects the fans and the A/C compressor,
3 prongs in a triangle, purple.
I hope it is not a sensor I missed!!

I have to hook up the Aux trans cooler then it goes to get tuned!!!!!

EDT: Getting tuned a week from today!! It will be alive

That is either for the ac unit, or somewhere on the front of the block i believe.

Or to the fans. Look around the front of the motor.

Is it the one that goes on the hard line to the AC condenser? There's a plug right above the passenger fan
