They are clueless about cars - otherwise they are pretty smart.

Merry Christmas everyone, its been awhile since I've been on. Thought I would lurk here since its been so long. Here's a shot of the mustang. I've had some issues with it since I've had it but it hasnt been too bad. Just had to replace the alternator and the driver side seatbelt. Next on the list is to drop this damn 4x4.

I never get pulled over for it, I ve gotten pulled over for other reasons, and they never tell me shyt about the plate, but I have gotten those lovely morning tickets while it stays outside parked overnight because according to them is not "visible".
And Jim I'm pretty sure I would definitely get pulled over if it was not to be there at all...gotta love IL |

or just screw it through the plate filler panel like i did..got a spare one which i guess is irrelevant now.. doesn't look stupid and it still retains the filler part.

I mounted mine in the factory location and just put the filler over it.

a lot of states bitch about those trim things you mount over the plate because it covers part of the plate i can't see mounting it behind the bumper like that to be any better. plus isn't that obstructing the airflow.

they bitch cause the plate frames cover the state sometimes so it can make difficult to run a plate if not sure what state.
