Good news! I talked to my local body shop (who has a "death row" with an alero 3.4) which was in a flood. I asked them for all the pieces to the air intake, and they said they did not know if they were good., but they would let me have them. I would like to know what could have maybe been ruined in the flood. My cai is causing codes and rough running, so I am gonna get rid of it.

Oil change last night.
 Eight and a half months, 3500 miles. Saved a small sample of the oil to be sent out, curious to see how much it broke down (Castrol Edge synthetic oil, 5W-20) and see if I can make a routine out of every eight months with low mileage. By eye, the oil really doesn't look bad, it's not sludgy, it's dark gold in color...
