and yeah kind of hard to do in the winter.. don't know about where you live but it snows a little bit here and then doesn't warm up above freezing much if at all so not much if anything melts..

You asked how, now that's how, I personally use the same tactics he mentioned, and although we might not be driving a ferrari, at least we try to make our efforts of washing the car, last a bit longer.
And btw, my car is lowered with a CAI, so I am one of those people who slams their breaks when I see a puddle

Yeah, I think those Mazdas are pretty decent. Don't know much about reliability of the engine/trans and other stuff on the older cars, but I know their newer cars are pretty reliable, and they all handle pretty well.

My daughter had a '04 3 model and I used it when my GA went down for the cat. That was a zippy little thing w/ great gas mileage

Wow...that's really, really oddly cheap for one of those...

Granted it's a Ford drivetrain, (Duratec 3.0L V6 in those) They share bits with the Ford Fusion, I'd run the history on it...if it's a salvage title, run. There's no VIN listed, so I'd ask for that first before going further.

the 1 i drove was a coworkers, with a 5spd and a 4cyl, and it was a real snappy litte motor, got around good, handled great, i really had a good time beating it around

The 2.3L DOHC Mazda engine is a stout little bastard. I've driven them in Fusions, Mazda3s, Ford Rangers...they're fun!

it seemed to have a good powerband, it didn't need to wind up to go, but it had no issue with winding up, his was a 4 door sedan, i had it to look at the wheel bearings for him, but taking it out to the garage, i gave it a once over!
