Also, the 6 speed is alot more fun to drive with the 3400. Auto is boring.

Eh. I was underwhelmed by my 6, the V6 didn't get very good gas mileage and it wasn't a great driver (wasn't bad either, though). Bought it with around 40k miles on it, got rid of it less than a year later after the fuel pump went out, a rear caliper seized, and the transmission was starting to act up (which I argued with Mazda about for a good 4-5 months, they claimed there was no issue).

Anecdotal evidence, I know, but I think there's better DD's out there.

the gagt was dying and I got $500 in trade and probably still came out ahead.
this car is about twice as fast as the ga was, and if i treat it right, uses a fraction of the fuel. unfortunately, I don't treat it right, and it has the fuel economy of a truck.
