I gotta question for ya - what method do you use for drying your car? My method I think is really bad and I just need a new one. Your car looks great btw!

thanks!
I personally use an absorber http://www.amazon.com/Absorber-Synth.../dp/B0000AY69V what are you currently using? there really isn't a right way to dry a car just as long as whatever your using is dry and soft.

I'll be buying a leaf blower next time I remember at lowes
. But I use a blade for the large flat surfaces and then a "Dry Me A River" waffle towel. Works decently well. |

I use a battery powered leaf blower. Works great, especially with side mirrors and trunk. I don't see the problem with non-filtered. It's not going to suck up a pebble or anything. And the stuff in the air it may be blowing is the same as driving?

My leaf blower goes up to 200 mph which my g/a couldn't do with a couple of rockets slapped to it.
Its not so much pebbles im worried about its more like dust. I mean think about sandblasting it doesn't take much of something small to take off paint, all you need is speed which a leaf blower provides.

At first I laugh when I thought of the idea but, the more I think about it, that would be a bad filter since it's meant to keep your lungs clean. I'll try it out ![]() |

I use some AMMO hydrate to dry with a damp MF towel. "Moisturizes" the paint while drying to prevent swirls since most damage is done in the drying phase and it seems to work as cheesy as it sounds. Then I take a leaf blower to get water out of the little crevices. Really nice when you don't have water flying out of mirrors, cracks, and then get all over your car on the road right after you washed the thing.

I use microfiber drying towels and I mist a light coat of spray wax over each panel as I dry it. I get a coat of spray wax every time I wash my car then and it help adding extra lubrication. Then I use my leaf blower to get water out of mirrors and cracks and dry it with a microfiber.

Yeah they are probably past thier prime im guessing they don't absorb very well anymore. An absorber is basically a shammy that absorbs a lot more water

I didn't dilute it if that's what your asking. Honestly i didn't think wheel cleaner could work that well. Even after all that winter crap and brake dust. Cut right through it. The Megs chrome wheel cleaner would not have gotten half that crap off. Very happy
