the recent snow and me backing out of the garage misjudging where my car was in the path i carved and well it's a foot wider thanks to the car..
was backing out heard the snow and said eh screw it and just tapped the gas a little bit. it was a little narrower than the last pic since i'm really sick of shoveling all the time. on a side note the rubber pieces i added to the bottom of the stock mudflaps are working pretty good. settled in at about 2" from the ground and with the fronts it's keeping a majority of the crap off my rockers. actually didn't see any on there the other day. |

yep i got the EZ30D..how's that driving around..is it super annoying inside.
not going after the loudness of dumping it right after the front tires..just looking for something a little less quiet. |

Mine is actually very quiet under most driving conditions, its only more then 1/2 throttle that you hear it, there is no drone inside, one thing I can not stand is drone.
my set up is 2 glass packs (acting as resonators) then 2 magnaflow's at the tips.

one thing to remember on a boxer 6 there is no exhaust overlap, which is why you do not get the typical boxer rumble. So running any kind of X pipe really doesnt help, in fact it can hurt performance slightly in some cases. Now thats not the same as running into a single exhaust so if your running a merge into a larger single then after that the muffler you should not have any problems with it.

yeah i wasn't going through that much effort.. car cover is still on the GA..kinda miss the look of the GTZ wheels..makes me want to find another set. i still neeed to do the whole front brake deal and change out the brake fluid.. wasn't really feeling that today.. probably set that aside for when i change the oil.. |

well last week i randomly decided to take the last week of this month off so shit will get done with this car.. going to get some interior pieces from the junk yard so i can start making parts to mount gauges in the vents above the radio..
i'll be giving her an inch. an inch of lift that is. and it will get some buffer love.. didn't plan on working this friday morning so the buffing never happened. |

bought this thing when i first got the car and after the initial cut and test fitting i never did much with it..been knowing i needed to heat the plastic up to better form it to the pillar i broke out the propane torch and the end result is pretty good..
now since they don't make a pillar pod for this generation many people have bought one from an 02ish impreza.. ![]() |

I love gauges. I want to redo them after I get my exhaust. Looks like a z-series or sport comp II would be a decent match for your stock cluster.

well i have all the autometer ones i got in the GA but they are all white faced..most are ultra lite and a couple are phantom's..the fuel pressure and oil pressure ones are full sweep. the vac gauge is too but it's one of the larger ones that fits in the vent on the left side of the GA cluster..
i was going to try and make something up to mount a couple of gauges in the vents above the havc/radio stack but then the motivation to complete my idea finally happened and i used the propane torch to heat the plastic up and while it was still pliable i put it in place and held it there so this is molded to the stock a-pillar.. i'm going to the junkyard so i can get another stock plastic a-pillar and mount the pod to that.. i at least want to add the trans temp gauge. not sure if i want to toss a volt gauge in there but i was thinking oil pressure and oil temp. plus i got the wideband i could throw in too.. from what i heard the stock subaru sensors are wideband sensors but i could just weld a bung in.. oh yeah and if you couldn't tell from my GA i love gauges too.. kinda on the fence on this one.. someone took clear carbon fiber vinyl and did this..actually looks decent but i'm not sure.. found this when looking to see if anyone had white faced gauges for my year http://legacygt.com/forums/showthrea...ge-134475.html Last edited by geldartb; 05-21-2015 at 11:59 AM. |

I have the digital ones and thinking about going white faced or possibly AEM gauges. But holy **** are the expensive. And I want full sweep autometer gauges if I can't get AEM. Once again, I feel like the price went up on them. I don't like short sweep at all, digital or full sweep all the way.

Aem is well worth the money! Mine have been so good to me. Very happy i spent the extra cash on good gauges. These have lasted me longer then the previous brands which would crap out in a year.

If I can find them used, I'm all game. But I can't justify $600+ for 3 gauges
. Sleepy be on the look out and let me know if you find any on other boards |
