They are on the Genesis for now, and if I sell the Grand am probably for the foreseeable future too.

That they are, if you read anything about this before I had one of the tires on the genesis bubble badly and needed tires quick to keep driving it. I pulled the bbs (with the 225/40/18's) off the grand am for a temporary fix, when I have the funds to replace the bad tires I will do so either putting them on the bbs's or on the stock rims, which also look ok.

I'd be concerned about load rating, though. The Genesis is a heavy car.

I missed the tire part. Meh.

Ive got plenty of cars that i fix daily on the road and have had 0 come backs for issues. 99% of the customers we have are return customers too. Im a good mechanic really. I know quite a bit. But still have much to learn.

Thats why im a mechanic right now. Idk if i will make it a career or not, fixing/modding cars started as a hobby, and now its turning into a daily job. So im afraid ill get worn out on it, so who knows how much longer ill stay a full time mechanic, there are days where its very stressful.

Previous job i was slammin oil changes and tires. That only lasted 4 months till i got tired of it because its the same thing every day. Where i am now i get to do everything... Whatever comes in i get to fix... Electrical, suspension, fuel, engine, whatever. Also helps to have a boss who is there to teach you stuff you dont know about yet. Im very happy with where i am right now.

well considering the genesis is just shy of 4000 pounds and the tires on the bbs are rated each corner 1389

I don't think there is any thing to worry about. That doesnt mean however that the tires should stay on, they are way too narrow and low profile for this car they leave a sizable tire gap.
