All motor and I agree shes got more in her if I can get it to launch good and bring down that 60' which might happen this coming weekend with some slicks! Buddy of mine will let me borrow some from his GTP if they fit

what was your 60' time on your 14.63@92.9 run?

picked up my Borg Warner

back on factory 16s

J-body gauge pod with AEM wideband and volt meter for now

Trimmed and plastic welded in place, had it higher up at first but decided to move it down as I plan to add another pod

quick sand and primer, still need to weld in a bung for the wideband

I was only going to shave off the casting lines but couldn't stop once I got started J-body poly bushings as well

10yrs since I've been in front of these lights, felt SOOO good!

That little F23 has also taken a good beating this season with daily driving it and 30+ passes in one night

might run the nitrous this coming weekend with the slicks as well.. curious if I can break 13s all motor with the slicks

Nice. I would say as is you have another two or three, maybe 4 tenths in it. With nitrous oxide easy 13's.

That one I'm not sure, I have that one in my sig because I have a video of it. My best 1/4 mile time is:

60' 2.218
1/8 9.402@76.05
1/4 14.618@92.87

That was with Toyo Proxes R1r's on stock 16's before my final tune. I have returned since just one time and had a best of ~14.7. DA must of been different that night and track prep sucked because I had to feather it to not spin.

Keep up the work man I love reading your updates.

Thanks! No test and tune this weekend cause of Turkey Nationals at my local track but they are opening up Thanksgiving Monday for some daytime test and tune, hopefully I can get some better traction with some warmer weather

Dropped my exhaust lastnight and got a o2 bung welded in for my wideband, running rich at WOT it seems

B&M short shifter which I'm hoping to get in by Mondays track day

and guess that LX9 is getting cracked open over winter

You want to run rich at WOT, that is normal. Makes more power that way and prevents detonation. Stock AFR is commanded 13.6 at WOT. A lot of people command it richer than that after doing mods, and sometimes it allows advancing the spark timing as well (especially if switching to premium fuel). Guys running a lot of boost dial in as low as 10:1 for AFR.

I forget my AFR #s but it was excessively rich at WOT it seemed, pretty sure I saw a 10.8ish or something around that coming up to redline

Working 6days a week 8-12hrs a day and with other **** always popping up getting in my way I didn't start tearing the car apart till Jan 2016

Tossed my exhaust manifolds on as well as the crossover fabbed for a 2nd gen J-body with flipped UIM.... I didn't think it would work but tried it out anyways

so grabbed a new turbo flange and pretty much started over trying to hug the engine as close as I could to make way for a 3" downpipe

The red transmission cap should give you a good reference point for how much it moved

How thing's are sitting right now, just need to finalize turbo location and make some brackets to hold it then I'll finish the last couple bends

Very nice. A part of me wish you saved the time and just got some mms turbo headers. You'd be ready by now!

He still has time, the tracks don't open for at least another 2-3weeks! Lol and it would probably still be in the garage any way with the crap weather we got the last few days

MMS manifolds/crossover would cost me around $1500 CDN for bare steel after shipping/exchange/custom fees, and a 2.5" crossover seems ridiculous for a little V6 IMO tons of turbo LS builds only use 2.25-2.5" crossovers... My setup will work just fine and should put down some rather respectable #s all for under $200 CDN into my manifolds and crossover

parts are starting to show up now too, updates to follow

3" turbo back, charge pipes, and wastegate plumbing arrived as well as my intercooler

Was hoping to get the DP passed the subframe but I couldn't remove/install it if it was any longer then what it is now

You're going to want a heat shield and/or some reflective heat tape on that fuse box. It's awful close to the downpipe.

that sounds like a lot of work.. i'm assuming he had to lengthen wires right. i can't stand wiring so that would be the last thing i did.

On mine he had raise it up higher to where it is flush with the rubber gasket on the cowl.
