My old boss has that same box in gloss black with chrome trim and spent over 3 grand on it and that was for a scratch and dent special.
I just got lucky and found a good deal. The box is immaculate.

I have lots of tools because of my work, I've been working on cars for a while now

900$?! Damn what a steal! I wouldnt mind a new box myself. Kind of debating a flat top.

On a side note:

Sheesh, took a month to get a post in this thread. How sad. Think I might make it a daily routine for me to take the same picture of my truck before my shift and post it to keep this place alive

I've already made a note to myself to take a picture when I go to lunch today, because I'm sure everyone cares what my car looks like right now.

It's under the cover in the 2nd pic. Got in an accident about 3 weeks ago. It's fixable, but I don't have any time to work on it because I'm working full time and going to school. Decided I needed something dependable with a warranty to get me to work and school everyday, plus having something a little more fuel efficient and quiet can't hurt since I'm on the road 2-3 hours a day. Since I just got hired on by GM I got a nice discount on the car, so I got a 3 year lease on it.

Yeah, I don't think I could trade it in, even if I wanted. Tons of modifications, no air bags, etc. I doubt a dealer would take it. Might have some kind of legal liability if they sold it to someone. I'd have to sell it private party, and that's what I would do if I sold it. Would get way more money for it that way anyway.

no. Most likely going with something that's a little more on the practical/reliable side than a DD that's modded - I'd rather have a regular old DD and figure out a project car than trying to make one car do both. Still trying to figure out details, we're probably going to get rid of all 3 cars and pick up either 2 or 3 new ones, just need to figure out what's realistic and what the CEO wants (because of course she "fell in love" with some new 2016s we drove over the weekend).
