Michigan Grand Am Crew First meet....on the Upswing!

Hello all!!

Well after a few early bumps, and our special guest otherwise occupied (Poor Jace was sick, and has been for a couple of weeks) (Bruce had an engagment in Indiana). We made it through! The weather was a touch cold...ok...it was FREEZING!! But enough with the negative and on to the positive!

I must pass along a compliment from one of the people there at Cracklewood. She mentioned to me that we were the best behaved most well mannered group she had ever catered to. She was very impressed and wanted me to express that to the group.

I believe with the attendance that we had, we have laid a good foundation for what can be a wonderful club. I enjoyed meeting everyone (especially you DAVE!!!!....bout time!!) Anyway, I do believe that some good things were established, and the next meet will be bigger and better. Although I'm making Nikki pick the date, because for the life of me any time that I mention Stoney Creek in any meet, or, plan any meet that far in advance EVER!!

REMINDER: I did catch a couple little things....PLEASE do not drive obnoxiously, alarms being set off are not necessary.... ok..my speech is over.

Also...BIG BIG BIG thanks go out to Ryan Edwards!!! Guru2. We really appreciate the last minute effort. Thanks man!! And you didn't even end up talking about teletubbies!!

It was great to finally meet you guys! Well worth the (very very long) drive! Adam, might I suggest a next meet date? May 3, Stanton, MGM3. Im going, itd be great to get some Other Ga's out there. Heck thats only 2 hours away from my house, practically right down the road!!! I enjoyed the meet today, even though I was the first to leave, and so did the other people I brought with me. Erin wants to start a "MCNYC: (Michigan Chrylser New Yorker Club). GOod luck...

hey everyone. i am typing on my phone at work so this will be continued later. i had an absolute blast hanging out with everyone, and educating people about nextel . the meet was very organized and professional and i was very pleased with everything.

I had a great time. I was super tired and a bit preoccupied with other things in my life, but it was GREAT to meet everyone and have the turn out that we did, granted the weather was the way it had been the last 3 days, we still managed to get OVER 20 MI cars out that day (and all of them looked like they had just got done rallying because of that damned dirt road before the country club.) YAH! for car clubs.

I'd like to throw in a bit of agreeance with what Adam shortly mentioned. Horseplay is fun, but not when it can harm others or cause someone else to lose respect for us.

Can't wait for the next get together.

For being my first meet, i had an absolute great time. i don't even really know anyone that well, and i'm already excited for the next meet. I wanna say thanks to every member of MGAC that showed up, because you all made it worth my time.

Hey guys,

Wanted to say thanks for having me out and listening to me spew my words. I am not the greatest public speaker (I am a software engineer not a lawyer or something) so any practice I get where I don't get booed and laughed at is good .

Glad so see so many Grand Am people together having a good time. MGAC is going to ROCK. I'll try to play as active role as I can. If MGAC ever needs any help from GAGT.com just let me know.
