Rsm Sc

Seems they raised the price...ouch!!

Now is $4700!!!!!

I'm guessing it is because they aren't selling, so they need to up the price a tad to gain back a bit of profit.

hey how did you get your supercharger? Just kinda curious about that and how much you paid, and if you know if it would fit a 3100 GA?

Holy crap!! Are you serious? Geesh, I should sell mine for a profit... I would say talk to Zsolt at GAP about a deal if you NEED it and can't AFFORD it. Hell, they let me make payments...

Well... they won't let you pay $50/month, but if you talk to them and make some serious payments each month, maybe somewhere around $500+/month, then maybe they'll work something out with you. Obviously you won't be able to get the SC until its completely paid off, [bad advice]but if you need it quick, just get a credit card and make payments that way.[/bad advice]

I'm fairly certain that it would work with the 3100 as the mounting points and belt path are basically the same, and I think they even list the SC for both the 3400 and 3100. Naturally you should e-mail RSM for the official word.

Gosh...I thought it was bad paying off $1000 credit card, a $5000 credit card debt would suck. I don't think I'll be getting a SC anytime soon.

Just to let you guys know, the price change is due to the US Dollar fluctuating alot in the last little while, if you notice the Canadian price hasn't changed because of this reason.

dont bother getting rsm supercharger. It is weak. Adds like what 60 to 80 hp? Thats nothing.

If I were you I would wait for a much much better stage 2 or 3 stuff to come out which would kick us up to at least 300+ horsies.

I'm sorry to go this route again....but you have NO IDEA what you are talking about. 60-80 HP is weak????? Do you and the many others that use this excuse for not having it think all turbo's make this magical 100-150 HP???? It takes a lot more than a turbo to just increase HP by those numbers!

If S/C is not getting you to low 13th then its not worth buying. I just want them to come out with better stuff and they know they can. Just making better stuff is less profitable since they cant really raise price a lot but have to increase the costs.

Basically those companies are PROFIT WHORES and I would never buy anything from them until they make better. Nuff said.

2 1/2 seconds from just a S/C??? Do you think hp comes from trees or money for that matter, cuz a stage II or III will cost even more....you know that right?

[sarcasm]CaliGrandAm says:

S/C's are not worth it unless they can drop a family car from mid-15's to low 13's, drunk driving is ok "if you've been doing it for a long time," and allegedly being in law enforcement makes it a-ok for someone to justify "busting a cap" in a police officer after getting pulled over for breaking the law.

Yup...the *brightest* ones come from Cali. That's why we always wear shades...[/sarcasm]

anyways, even with bigger displacement cars such as LT1, LS1, 5.0, 4.6 SOHC there is no S/C kit that will take 2.5 seconds off......hell even with an intercooler it will only take 2 seconds off if you are lucky
