this turbo kit legit?

http://www.itsturbo.net/products/pro...ory=Turbo+Kits

select grand am from that link, is that for a 99 gagt? if so, how easy would that be to install, i don't know much about engines at all, but my friends are very intelligent w/ this kind of stuff, how much time do you all think it'd take to install this?

Thanks,
Clayton

I don't trust them and neither do others. If you are interested in a turbo, read the thread in the Turbos section on Turbos by H P Performance. It will be a couple of months from now, but development is moving quite quickly.

hahahahaha you would have to be a turbo guru to install on a grand am. For one thing we have a v6, meaning we would need 2 turbos, not that we would have the room for it, and our internals just couldnt take that. I could be wrong.....

why would you NEED 2 turbos??? We don't have a true dual exhaust setup.....We have a collector that feeds all exhaust into 1 pipe.....

My car is headed to Roswell, NM at the beginning of July for development. Unless something unforeseen happens, it should take about 1 week to get it in. This is of course with EXTENSIVE research done before hand.

Very wrong. Buick GNX and T-types 3.8L Turbo, GMC Syclone 4.3L turbo, TTA - same as the GNX. All these are V6 engines w/ 1 turbo. For the 3400, just install it on the front side of the engine. This is where all the FWD 4 bangers run them. Many w/engine compartments just as cramped as the GA.

My turbocharger is being installed onto a custom crossover pipe. Its the best place to have one installed unless you get custom headers made. I will have dyno number for everyone in a month when mine is installed. I'll be pushing between 8-10 lbs of boost out of it. I will also have a laptop controlling everything from fuel curves, shift points, boost and more from the touch of a button inside my car. I am also going with 3:33 gearing and a full kevlar transmission to handle the power the turbo will be putting out. I will be running thru 1st gear like its nothing.

within the next year i will be sporting an ITS turbo..i dont care how other people bash em..one person had a bad experience, so everyone thinks it was bad..the only reason it was bad, was cause he took the car before it was tuned and dyno'd...but i still like the guy

I think they are bad because the don't return phone calls. I found this company out here and after talking to them, I am very confident that they know what they are doing.

As for HP Performance, custom headers and custom intercooler will be built up for us. So they are not using off the self parts. So everything should fit well.
