Milwaukee area meets anyone?

Hmm, everyone keeps talking about it, so here I go, how about we start planning for a Milwaukee Meet. I am thinking something fun, like a country side cruz with a grill-out/picnic in the middle. I have a route that is awsome for country driving and can giveyour car a good workout in turns. Post your Ideas, locations, and any other info you want to share! I am also open to starting a regular Friday night or Saturday night thing. Lets get the ball roling, thins could turn into a owners group.

well I live about an hour down south in IL, I guess I would be interested. I just dont know how to get there. And I never really been to Milwaukee so it may be an interesting drive. If you guess set the right time for me, I think I can manage.

Lets get the word out in other threads that we are starting to get something together.

Also, lets start proposing weekends to do this. I know that there is atleast one that I will not be able to do at all as I will be busy consuming brewed beverages at a friends place on the lake. So post what you can and can't make, and we can go from there.

PS. The drive up is really easy... Take I94 North/West from Chicago. there are your directions.

If you live in madison and you don't know how to get to the milwaukee area, well, then you should shred your driver's licence

Great to see some responces!!!
This is what I am seeing...
Meet at the Marriott in Waukesha Wisconsin (10 miles west of Milwaukee on I-94)
Wait for everyone to get there or a designated time.
Leave from Marriott and go touring in northern Waukesha County, Washington County, and possibly other cool areas, all ending with a cruiz down Hwy100 to show off our GAGT pride. If anyone needs to get a room at the Marriott, I work there and can get good deals on rooms.
Some where along the way, we should find a drive in, or place to grill or order food.
What do you all think?
Drive times to Waukesha are:
Madison, about 35 Minutess
Chigago Schaumber (via 90, 294, 94) ~1.5 hours
Appleton, WI, about 1 hour
Michagain, well, good luck with the lake... hehehe

All other points, well come if you can!!!

there's the idea, lets start shooting around some dates...
I am thinking some time in Late july or mid july, just not the weekend of July11th 12th and 13th, beach party for friend going to SCAD.

I really like this idea. How about we do this in middle of August? With GAP going on in late July, I don't think people would wanna take 2 weekends off in the same month. I could join if you set this up for middle of August.

I would be very interested in this...but I go back to school in early august. If its done in July, I should be game (unless it falls on the date of the Metallica concert). We could get a small convoy w/ all (if any) of the Chicago people. Keep us updated!

Now you have your commitment. :-D I almost can guarantee if you just set it up people will come. Thats what happend with me and AZN. We just posted thought only 5 cars would come and suprisingly it was more around 15...... By the way Azn its on the way to my house if you want to stop by here and then we can ride together.

I am leaning more towards the july dates.
