4th of July, Grand Haven, MI

Who could make it to Grand Haven for the 4th? They tend to have pretty badass fireworks, not to mention the whole beach thing, you know. Post up if anyone is interested. We need to show of to the west side of the state, too.

Grand haven sucks! You have to have twelve cell phones and abercrombie and bitch on all your clothes, and drive a civic down there.

LOL, Dave. Geez. I've been to muskegon's fireworks, too. I only suggest GH because I'm more familiar with the 4th's activities there. Maybe we'll pay your town a visit, too. Too bad you won't be riding with us.

Once you cross the line, pick someone in your group, and follow these instructions so i can come see ya:

1. Walk out to the end of our breakwalls (south side preferred)
2. Tie a few bricks onto the cosen persons legs
3. Push chosen person into the water.

4. Wait a bit, then call 911. Ill come a ridin...

5. If you did do the south breakwall, we can find the body fairly quickly (they all end up in the same place out there). So, i can find it, write a quick report, and hang with you guys for a bit.

Sound good?

I just got my work schedule. 7/4, 9am-2pm. 7/5 2pm-9pm. So, any problems with leaving after 2? Also we'll have to make a pit stop in GR to pick up my wife.

Bad news guys. ive gotta work from 3-9 on the fourth. It sucks so bad. Most stores if open are only open till 6. Gotta love circuit city for leavin the doors open till 9 on a holiday like this.

Hey Vinaashak, I also work at circuit city and they tried to schedule me from 9-9. I pretty much told them what they could do with that shift, so i'm out by 5 now

you know...I think I was.

So here's my idea of a plan for the 4th. I get out of work at 2. From there, we can all meet at my place or whereever. Then we have to head to GR to pick up my wife, and Tim may meet us there or right in GH.

That night, after fireworks and stuff, if you don't feel like splurging on a hotel or driving all the way back to Lansing, everyone is welcome to stay at my GR apartment. There's one extra bed, one couch, an air mattress, and a lot of floor. Let me know what you think, and who all is going.
