Angry Cleaning water spots off glass

Ok, I have tried just about everything I can think of. Anyone got a clue on how to get hard water spots off the wind shield?

White vinegar will also work, or you could try Zaino glass polish!

barkeepers friend.... go to walmart, in the house cleaning section, and get some of this... http://www.barkeepersfriend.com/products.htm
make sure you either use a white shirt or an old one cause it will bleach clothes but it worked great.

Try using some very fine steel wool. the 00 or 000 size. It will polish the glass. You could also try using rain x it works as a cleaner as well.

Any type of "ORANGE" cleaner will work good for that. I bought a gallon of it in concentrate at Home Dept. I have used it to remove road tar, bugs, and road grime on windshield. Works GREAT! (Also on wheels.)

It works great for removing that baked on 'seasoned' oil residue on the porcelean (sp?) stove top and on stainless steel surfaces. Lol, even use it to polish and clean my SLP tips.

Yeah you guys like to do things the hard way!!! After you wash your car, get yourslef 2 soft bath towels. Go over it all with 1 towel, then get the rest with the fresh towel.
With the damp 2nd towel (not the soaked one) keep rubbing the glass. The minerals haven't had time to harden yet so they buff right out.
No Chemicals, no Abrasives... just a damo cotten towl before the spots harden.

Invisible glass. You can buy it at autozone/pepboys and it works great. The guy at the counter said it was the best auto glass cleaner they had, so i bought it and I love it.

no touch glass stipper works the best to get everything off of the windows. I would suggest using the glass stripper and then applying rainx so that water spots dont form again. havent found anything that works better.

I recently picked up a glass chamois at Auto Zone. It works WONDERS!! It looks kind of like a scrunchie that girls use in their hair.

Don't worry I have the same problem. In Idaho we get a lot of dirty rain that has minerals in it and junk like that. I tried everything nothing worked. Then my brother bought some stuff called Stoner Invisible Glass. It works! Just follow the instruction and shake the can before using it (doesn't tell you that but you have to). I may take three or four tries but you will see the difference. It may leave streaks but just wait a little then take a cloth and wipe the glass the streaks come right off.

I'm glad I found this place. Just to let everyone know, I went with the orange cleaner. That stuff is an all-in-one. For the steel whoo folks out there. Do you get any swrill marks in the glass ?

Thanks for the help everyone.
