My friend bobby did it. Thansk for the compliements. I drove 7hrs to him for the shaving and molding in the kit work.

Yeah.. I'm gonna run a LED strip.. dem things are expensive! Hitech (www.hitechledproducts.com) ones runs half a g at the ones i'm looking at.

Thanks, bro... yours took is clean. We're both going minitruckin style. Mines gonna be bagged oneday. After I get all this body work out the way. Still got more shaving to do.. (hence tails/trunk).
dammit...somebody beat me at shaving the handles on a sedan.....hehe.....then again.....noone has yet.....cuz mines a grand am.....hehe......anyways.....looks sweet......cant wait to see pix of it when its paitned and everything....how much does it cost for the door kit and labor.....(suppossing u didnt go to ur buddy to get it done )

how many pounds is the solenoid? and does it open the doors w/ no prob? later

I hear on average it's about $125/door and $75-$100 for trunk lock and antenna....

Bobby said he would do mine for $75/door $50/tunk/antenna

I got 35 lbs solinods.. two of them @ 100 bucks from www.spal-usa.com then I just hooked up relays and wired it into my alarm. I didn't get the whole shave door kit. IF ya want they sell those and it'll run ya 200 bucks for the shave door kit that comes with another function box brain with two remotes that ya have like 7 channels to fool with.

cool....u should be fine as long as they are 25+ lbs...or so thats what i heard....


2002GT: is the $75-100 for the trunk lock and antenna .....meaning for both of them or $75-100 each? and if so, is this including the refilling and painting to your car color? since im kinda broke right now....thats what i wanna do first...antenna and truck lock...doesnt sound to money-hungry of a mod

That is for each indiv. part... It does not include the painting of stock color, but does include primer... and that is with welding and not bondo...
