Leaf Blower instead of hand drying?

That was from an old thread, and no one really commented on it...I do have a leafblower, is that the better option to dry it?

actually i tried it for awhile. its ok but obviously u need to hand dry it too if u want no water spots like me. however i found with 1 that plugs into the wall, its more a pain than anythin else. now its just easier to use a squegee.

Zaino + leaf blower = goodness.

I typically dont use mine because I wash my car at night when my neighbors are asleep and they bitch if I wake them up. On the weekends though I use the leafblower and it works awesome, espically for crevass cleaning.

you can also use a car vacuum and suck all of the water out of the mirrors or the moldings on the side or any other places

Canned air works well to blow out the water from the mirrors too

Well, I used the leafblower tonight, even though I technically didnt 'wash' the car...it works good, but I actually think the Absorber is quicker...plus I couldn't turn the leafblower up all the way, its so damn loud...

It works really good to clean out the edges and such, as mentioned above...other than that it really juts pushes the water around, and you have to hold it on a spot for a good bit until it dries.

Tried this yesterday for the first time....it works great if you have a powerful leaf blower. Mine is small rinky dink hand held one and I got the majority of the water off and the few damp spots that remained my chamois soaked right up.

My neighbors already think I'm crazy for spending countless hours cleaning my car. Then then old guy across the street pulled out of his driveway and I swear I seen him scratching/nodding his head... wtf probably wondering what the h3!! I was doing... I just waved and kept drying...!

Time for a bigger leaf blower this fall back pack commercial landscaper style.

If your car is in the shade, will it still get sunspots...I washed mine completely in the shade the other day, and didn't notice any (I had to miss some spots)...

Water spots are the only bad thing about having a black GT..I may have to try the leaf blower, or maybe even using my air compressor..

I go over it with a soft cloth after but mainly to get whats in the cracks and stuff......If you wipe that waterblade across a flat surface it is TOTALLY dry after only one pass!

I only wash my car on cloudy days or at night... becuase its black and it sucks when one side dries unevenly. Why does black look the best but is soooo hard to maintain?

I tried this out today.. works pretty good. In direct sunlight I'd have to stick with the water blade though because this takes me a bit longer..
