Hines Park BBQ 8/24

Hey everyone, I know its short notice but a group of friends of mine who have a car club called Socially Hazardous (custom car club) are throwing a BBQ on Hines Drive and Ann Arbor Trail, sunday afternoon 8/24. Food will be free, just bring your own drinks. We'll be there from noon to whenever, food will be served from noon to 2 o clock. Everyone is invited! They asked me to try and round up the Grand Am owners in the area. Me, Kyle, Aaron (AaronGAGT), Ryan (ArcticGT) and a few others have all hung out before in Plymouth with them and can vouch that they are a great group of guys with some really nice, tasteful rides! Regardless, they've heard all about this site, and seen our cars and want to see more, so lets get on out here and have a good time! Once I have more refined details, i'll post up ok?

I would but I have an auto-X event that morning....If it gets over in time I'll swing through since I'll be staying at my in-laws that evening in Livonia.

yea socailly hazardous are a good group of people, i've actaully just recently joined their club. this is going to be a fun time and i hope everyone can make it out.

dude mike, i told you this already, they close hines drive on the weekends, i think until 2 maybe, check t out

not around us they don't it's always open, unless it rains.

they dont close the road to traffic on the weekends for bikers and ****?

Even if they close the road, cars are allowed to enter the road by Nankin Mills just south of Ann Arbor Trail Rd on Edward Hines :thumbup:

the spot that the BBQ will be held is on Hines Drive between 6 and 7 mile.

Hines Drive and Northville road, between 6 mile and 7 mile. Its at the Cass Burton Park. We need volunteers alos to bring a Volley ball net to set up. Thats the final place! C'mon out pple!

ok if anyone wants i am having a party at my house that day too it goes preaty much all night so if you want to stop by after you are welcome i live in canton about 20 mins from the park

My Club as well as GrandAmgt.com are throwing a picnic type deal.. with volleyball sand nets, baseball, soccer, and football activities, as well as checking one anothers rides out. Should be fun and were suppose to have great weather..... Aug 24th 12-2 for food 12-8 for the park, its fully reserved for us only.. Bring your own drinks, according to wayne county beer is allowed. Its AT Northville West Dr on hines drive..
From (north) i-275 to 7-mile turn right toward northville, your going a few miles untill your come up on hines drive turn left. Its before Sheldon rd.. it will be the first drive on your left ( Northville West) turn on to the rd. make a right in the lot follow the dirt rd around and you will see us by the volly nets.. Hamburgers From 12-2..
I have a 2001 Siver Xlt bagged, im kinda new but i thought this would be a good idea..alot of custom cars should be on hand.. were inviting people from redline on friday and the car show on sat in Canton.. ttyl
