Impreza Redesign

Well, I know there's a few other fans of the WRX here. So, I figured I'd post these pics I found while browsing the internet the other day. Enjoy, folks.

Click this link for access to all the pics, and a few others, in both low-res (the ones I posted) and hi-res.

Aahh....the new WRC car for Subaru. The front end is much friendlier I think. In race tune, they pump out anywhere from 350-400HP. If they can get traction, they'll hit 60 in under 4 seconds.

When is this redesign going to take effect??!!

I am thinking of buying a WRX next year...and get a 2004. I love the style as it is now...and I really like the "buggy" lights which (I think) set it apart from other imports...these rounded curved lights remind me of a civic.

If this is the way it is going to look for 2004, I'm gonna hafta buy something else...bah!! Cuz I don't like this too much...and on another note, would it kill Subaru to get a few more different colors for the car? Black, white, red, blue, and yellow just seem too plain...even though I have my plans on yellow. I wouldn't mind a metallic something or other...

Wow, that has to be one of the first postitive arguments I've heard about the buggy eyed lights, but to each their own. I like the redesign tho cuz it does make improvements on the lights and it still looks way more unique than any other import on the road. But Something about the back lights seems weird. If that thing had Skyline lights in the back or something similar, I think it would be the complete package.

Well I can see from the profile of the car that the new lights make it look more rounded and sleeker when you look at the side...but I still don't like the lights head on. I agree with the taillights though...something kinda odd about them. But hey, I will still prolly buy the thing. (Unless I fall in love with the new GTP...and I'm still fond of the new Altima. But I have a year before I decide something...)

The headlights kind of remind me of the Hyundai Elantra...

I actually have gotten used to the "buggy" headlights. I just wish they made a 2 door WRX...that would rock!

I agree though the new design looks much better though. Oh and the STi version.. WOW!

All of the Subaru WRC cars have the 555 logo on the side. Well... for as long as Subaru has had the 555 sponsor, that is.

Does Subaru even make 2 door vehicles? I don't think I've even seen one before. I think they're strictly 4 door and wagon makers, but I could be wrong. I dunno why they wouldn't have a 2 door WRX...I agree a coupe would be very cool!!

They made one several years back called the SVX or something. It was a sport coupe with those strange half-windows...
