Yeah I like the Grand Am leather too. Mine is showing no wear--2500 miles, but I put on some 3M Refresh leather & vinyl stuff about every 1-2 weeks.

I would recommend Lexol Cleaner and Conditioner. I have heard this stuff is really good for leather. You can find it in Pep Boys. I will be purchasing it soon.

The grand am leather is good. I haven't noticed much wear on my leather and I have 34,000 miles on my car. But maybe because it's black. I just wish the seat had a bit more options for comfort. On long trips, my back starts to hurt because the seat back isn't supporting it. There is an empty spot in my back.

Hmmm. Don't know. They say it's leather, and it kind of looks that way. However, it looks cheaper than most leathers that you find in other cars. That's my impression.

By the way, i've read that using KIWI saddle soap on the leather first followed by the lexol cleaner and conditioner works amazing. I'm going to try this method.

Let us know how it works. I just went with the 3M Refresh because one of my friend's had a '97 Taurus SHO and the leather looked brand new, so I asked him what he used. He said he put it on EVERY WEEK!

yeah the MP3 player is definately a nice feature....I'm just afraid to download mp3's anymore with everyone getting sued. I plan on getting a pioneer avh-p6500dvd when the 04 model electronics come out unless there is something i like a lot better. Only complaint I have about car so far is bending 2 wheels and our ugly mirrors.

i would have gotten leather if it came with a factory seat warmer. There aren't too many cars with leather seats that DON'T come with factory seat warmers nowadays.

I have a leather interior in the GAGT, and at 116000 miles it still looks good. Saddle soap is good stuff!!! You'll be glad you have seatbelts after you use it.

I love my leather seats, especially with the heaters in them.
As far as which parts are leather, it's the perforated areas. The rest of the seats are not leather, but "leatherette". That's fine with me since the leatherette lasts longer.

As far as the ugly mirrors, paint them, they look a lot better!

I have a 99 and my leather is like the day it was new. I take care of it very well though.

he has asserted his dominance over competing males with the loud masculine sound form his exaust system, Females searching for a potential mate will be driven away by weaker exaust systems and attracted to his SLP.
