Cold Weather Racing Nov 15th

Some of us have been talking about going to Lapeer for some cold weather racing on Nov 15th..Anyone up for it?? Here is the info on the Lapeer track...Post up if interested.

Lapeer is a good track compared to Milan...but its really out in the boonies...Lol...I dunno if you guys have been there before but, after you run, you gotta pull off the lane to re-stage at and go thru the parking lot to go get your slips at the side of the concession stand...and you have to get outta your car...then the whole road and parking lot is dirt

BUt other than that...its a great sticky track

I may be going again soon, but I dunno if its the 15th or 14th...

I don't think they'll be open on the 14th, Nikki. As far as I know just Sat and Sun, 15th is a Saturday. As long as it's a good sticky track, all the nonsense off the track is ok with me. I just need a good run or two one last time this year.

It is a good track tho...you can make like 2-3 runs then go get your slips...they usually hold em for you.

No excuses, Dave, you're going! Shed a few pounds and get that thing to a 14.9, or at least a 15.0. You had a 15.1 last time right?

Oh yeah...and just a reminder: Lapeer requires everyone to wear a helmet...they can be rented there for $5, but they are pretty nasty

It's ok Dave had to wear a helmet and leash in the halls during middle school and high school he should have them laying around somewhere.

lmao. I have my hockey helmit...I'll see if that flys for them, if not, I have a racing helmit.

Woodyward....I know now that I will run 14's..I found a new way to shift my car that ROCKS!

I think there is a cetain DOT that needs to be on the helmet.
I think that they rent helmets so the don't have a picture of a guy with a KIA wearing a pink bicycle helmet floating around the internet with a Lapeer Dragway sign in the back ground.
