7" lcd molded in. DONE!!!!!!!! check it

got a 7" lcd and am currently molding into the radio spot and moving the radio under the hvac.. today i got it all cut out and the lcd frame bondo'ed in as well as the metal sleeve for the cd player. had to hack the sheot out of the bezel to make it fit, but it should look nice when done.. the tape player is gonna be tricky with no mount, but i'll have to get creative...

here's the teaser

Thats gonna look badass...you went bondo crazy though hope you formed the mold before the bondo completely dried or you'll be there forever sanding

Might want to reinforce it a little with some fiberglass too.

might be a good idea... i'd reinforce the back of the bezel. cutting some of it away makes it weaker. though its going to be in the car and shouldnt be hit hard anyway. looks good!

You took my idea, damn Craig and his antics, mine would be going along smoothly if I had a console...

I am gunna do something similar, but have the radio still up higher and move some other stuff around :-)...

1st stage of sanding complete

i work for american tv, so i took it into the car install bay and used there overhead hood so i wont get the bondo dust!

anyways, got rough shape done, now just need to fill some minor areas , imperfections then i will be ready to final sand prolly by thrusday, wednesday is a anti work day due to my 6mo with my girl, so no play time... , but it all starts back on thursday...

its sucks cause my subs are on a timeout till im done... i need bump!!!
