North American International Auto Show

K people its about that time again. the greatest auto show of the year is coming back around in a couple months now. Once again this is going to be at Cobo Hall in Detroit. So far i know of at least 2 new debuts that im sure everyone else wants to see as well. We have the new G6 and Corvette C6 making there public outcomings there this time around. So i was thinking about it and figured since most of us are going anyway why not make it a meet. I figure we can get a lot of people to show up from Michigan and surrounding areas if we bring this up early enough. So who all would be interested. I know Grand Visions will be up to it but how about MGAC and CGAC? If you have any interest in all getting together post up here. The show opens up on January 10th and ends on the 19th. Any request for a date would be appreciated. Want to make this convenient for everyone. Anyway post up if you are interested.

Saturday, January 10 - Sunday, January 18:
10 a.m.-10 p.m. (no admittance after 9 p.m.)
Monday, January 19:
10 a.m.-7 p.m. (no admittance after 6 p.m.)

Ticket Prices:
Adult: $12
Senior Citizen (65 and older): $6
Child: 12 and under free with a parent

I used to go every year, till three years ago on the tram over i got offered pot, and nearly pickpocketed (dumbass criminals, ive got a big long columbia jacket on and you think you can reach up under it

Ive been going to the chicago show ever since. Same stuff, LOT bigger and nicer space, and area in general. Makes for a lot better time. So, im going to have to miss out on the NAIAS, but Ill be at the chicago show if anyone goes to that!

BTW, what is Cgac?

I'd go to the show, but I usually go a week before it opens with a press pass from ford and lear automotive. You cant beat free! Plus we get free food and drinks

I'll be going for sure. I could go any day since I'll be outta work. I might get free passes since my dad works at a dealership, but if you guys decide to get together on a certain day for this I'd definitly be in.

Chicago Auto Show is the shizzy.

Two car shows I wait for: Chicago Auto Show, Hot Import Nights.

Nice thing about HIN is that it isn't just imports, and you see such a huge variety of crazy vehicles. Lowriders, tuner cars, ****ty cars with body kits, bikes, it's good times.

I may be in HIN next year, who's comin with me?

I'll go if I can ride with someone! My nerves will be shot at the thought of my car parked with hundreds in a tower in the heart of downtown detroit. Can you say "carjackers"?

A vehicle that if it gets hit/scratched/dinged or jacked is worth more as an insurance claim than it is if you were to try to sell it
