replacing intake gaskets on my own with *pics*

since my car started leaking pretty bad and i dont want to spend a ton of money on doing it me and my dad started to fix it ourselves, im getting the gaskets tommorow, but we did alot of un-assembling today. here are the pics http://www.grandampc.com/leak/

we got the power streering pump off without having to unmount the engine, just took out one bolt and managed to get a socket
in there. if anyone has any tips or advice let me know.

Update 10/21 -
got more pics up click on the link, someone please tell me how to properly remove pushrods.

update 10/22 -
pics from day 3, everything is cleaned up and ready to be installed.

yep, gonna work on that 2morow, we spent about 4-5 hours doing the top. I ordered the gasket kit, and 2 valve cover gaskets, is there anything else that i will need? we got some silcone gasket sealent just to get a better seal. If anyone is interested get the parts of www.gmpartsdirect.com about half of what the dealer would charge for the parts # 89017279 for the whole kit, and 10154775 for the valve covers (u need 2)

silicone for the LIM gaskets or the valve cover? I've done it all plenty of times before.

For the lim.....

On the block between the gaskets, put about a 1/4" thick bead across the block, and put a thick bead in the corners.

For valve cover....

put a small dot where it goes to a triangle and sticks out.
