Question OPINION: Which Rims??

Okay I have a 99 GA SE (white) I want to get some nice shoes for the car b4 spring.... both are 17's, so what do you think:

Or (I really like this one)

Or help me find the perfect rim

between those two... i like the second one... you're probably gonna need hubcentric rings with the Excel rims cuz their bolt patterns are usually 5x114.3 and the stock bolt pattern is 5x115... good luck in the rim hunt!!

I love those second ones, but, since you asked for opinions, I think you should go with 18s.

Yeah #2, and go with 18's on the newer GA's, you'll regret not doing it.

I like the first one. I think it kinda looks like a Corvette magnesium wheel.

i'll say it again,18 inch tires are expensive.but if you are of unlimited funds go for it.and of the 2,the first one.and get some springs.with those,1 inch won't make much of a difference.

IS the second one chrome or is it mag also? Maybe it's just the picture but it looks like it has machine lines in it. If that's the case, I like the first better. I prefer simple.

Kumho ECSTA Supra 712's at Tirerack in 225/40/ZR18 for $95 a pop. In the world of modifying, $400 bucks isn't a HUGE expense. These tires came out with an 'excellent' rating in all categories (except for snow traction, which was obviously not applicable) in Tirerack's survey. I had Kuhmo Supras on my 18s, and I loved them. You don't need 'unlimited funds' to afford some 18s.

...hey guess what... you can cuz you're only 18... in NJ 16 is the age of consent and as long as you're within 3 years you're good... therefore, you being 18 can have a 17 y.o. in your bed...

but that's off topic... i don't think there is too major of a difference between 17's and 18's and people have thought i had 18's before so that's one reason why i don't regret it... the other reason i don't regret it is b/c the rims i have were the color and style i wanted and the largest size was 17... that was more important than whether they were 18's b/c overall it achieved the look i was going for....

That's fine, but I am really wondering what this community is coming to. Some of the things that are creeping in are scary.
