2005 Dodge Magnum RT

http://www.dodge.com/magnum/

Dodge released info on their new 2005
Dodge Magnum series yesterday. Their
RT model has the 5.7 Hemi with 340-hp
and 390-lb/ft torque with an MSRP that
starts at $29,995.

The 5.7 Hemi in the Magnum RT and 300C
is using a cylinder deactivation setup, too.
They claim a 10-20% fuel efficiency bump.

Theres an sr/t 8 concept magnum that was boasting 500+ hp I believe. I was watching some "show time" thing on espn 2 yesterday and they had it on there. Trying to bring the muscle car back as well.

Whatever of the big 3 does it first gets my vote for coolest of the 3.

I admit the new GTO is a premium V8 coupe and not a musclecar.

There are rumors about an AWD version.
And also a supercharged SRT-8 version.

And your point?

It's a Chrysler product that is sharing some parts from Mercedes.

Or is it Mercedes sharing Chrysler parts?

I got nothing against Dodge. SRT4 is a big step in the right direction. Cheap and fast. Everyone needs to get on the ball with that.

i think it needs to be a sedan before a wagon...people need to accept the car when its a classic varient...not a wagon...im my opinion, people warm up more to new sedans than wagons...
