GTO at the dealer...

Stopped in to get a first hand view of the GTO.... I was fairly pleased...but it can definitely use a few things. Some of the pics are blurry

Price..... The pinstripes that they charged you $300 for were coming off at 4 different parts.... and there was a scratch in the front from where they were applying it. The dealership by my house blows.

I wasn't even sure if it was out yet or not, but I saw one at the gas station last night and was staring admirably when a scrubby looking weirdo walked out of the gas station and to the silver GTO. I gave him the nod of approval with a thumbs up and he sorta smirked and got into the car. Stuck up bastard..he looked like an older mechanic or an enthusiast who had one before. Regardless, he couldn't drive the thing worth a crap cause the car lurched back and forth as he attempted to drive in 1st to the exit of the station. Haven't driven a stick in a while?

i dont know what i dislike more, the G6 or the GTO. holy step backwards for GM batman!!!! IMO that is.

Great car. No doubt a great car. They brought a Holden over finally. I'd be estatic to own one. It doesn't even bother me that it looks like a large Cavalier with an LS1 in it, Cavalier Z24's look nice IMHO. (that dealership should be shot for putting that nasty pinstripe on the car)

It needs to have more goddies on it to be priced so damn high. An LS1 with RWD and a GTO badge does not constitute $35,000.

My honest opinon is that they could have made something like this HERE themselves and sold it for about $10,000 less...

Awesome car. Unreasonable price.
