Lowering springs with stock wheels?

I am wondering if anyone has done this, as well as which brand of springs you used. I know someone has done this, I just cant find it using search!

Thanks,
Brett

what would be the difference between stock and aftermarket besides the tire being thinner?

Lowering springs are made for stock cars.

There really wouldn't be much of a difference as long as you upsized properly going from stock to aftermarket wheels.

A 225/50/16 going to a 215/35/19 is going to be about the same overall tire and rim diameter. (215/35/19 is just an example of what size to go with when upsizing from 16's on our cars)

If you take a look at the revs per mile and compare it to the 837RPM on our 225/50/16's, that will tell you if the speedo will be off or not. You want that number to be as close to stock as possible. (This is just extra info... )

Uhhh...copy that.

You added about an inch and a half of overall tire and wheel diameter going to those 235/40/18's, so yea it lifted you a little bit.

Oh and your speedometer probably reads a little bit slower than it used to...

So...I guess my question is, which springs would work best with KYB GR-2's and stock wheels?
Thanks,
Brett

THERE IS NO BEST SPRING!! It's a shock...a spring will go over it. A different spring is not going to break your new shocks It's all your own personal taste in ride height!!
