Des Moines meet in a couple weeks

Somebody on GAOC wants to have a meet in a few weeks. I think its a good idea, weather looks good. So if you are interested post up, and we'll figure out when and where.

I have drill the weekend of the 20th...I usually get home around 4 or so...so sometime after I could show up, or we can have it the next weekend.....

What about having it sometime in April when all the snow should be gone. I have the entire last week in April off from work. Plus we would be able to stand outside and look at each others cars without freezing our nuts off.

I get my lisence back on the 14th of April...I guess Polk County Police don't like it when you get clocked doing 86 in a 65....

....that was in my Probe, I had that thing up to 135 one time!! It was awesome!

I'm in Cedar Falls. And as anyone who lives here knows that the weathermen in this state are awful at predicting the weather. I was just thinking that it would be better in April when all the snow is gone. I know that up here the streets and drives may be clear and dry but there is still 10-12 inches of snow everywhere else and as the temps warm up that snow melts and starts running down the streets and what not making it near impossible to keep a car clean until almost all the snow is gone. Just my thoughts on it and also since GAP 04 is marginal at best maybe we can try to organize something for a weekend and get others from surrounding states to show up.

I guess I don't know much about Iowa weather. I just live here to go to school.
But we are not trying to have a "once-a-year" meet. We just wanna see who is from where. I would be up for meeting up once or maybe even twice a month.
