Ok guys Im registered and a few other alero and GA guys are showing. Its on the sat March 27th at the cobo center.

I've been talking to the producer of the show and I can get all the alero/ga guys grouped together.

Hotel is cheap to $65 a night

I wish it was a week or two later.....I have parts in the shop right now but I don't think I'll be done by late March.....

I may be workin the show...definitely won't have my car there.
I know of a lot of ppl that registered for it. It should be a great show!!

Dang, too bad they're having it so early in the year. Don't they know MI weather sucks in March?

A lot of people are still working on their cars too, getting ready for summer. I'll be in the middle of installing a body kit then, and I have body damage to repair so I couldn't show anyway. Is this the first year for this show here? I haven't heard of it before. I'll probably come check it out, but I deffinitly won't be showing.

I won't be showing until street dreams in may, and there are hot import nights in chicago and columbus this year I may go to.

This show replaces the Hot Import Nights and Street Dreams due to some conflicts with the promoters of the other shows not wanting to come to Detroit anymore....

Hot imports nights had their first show ever here last year, and they aren't coming back because they didn't have a big enough turn out. Why wouldn't street dreams be back though? They had nothing to do with HIN, and they've been going strong in Detroit for four years now. They started out in Detroit. If this is the only big show in cobo this year and street dreams doesn't come back I'm going to be royally ****ed off!

I hung out a couple of nights before with Chris Rollins (promotional director for HIN), and we walked all over Detroit trying to promote it. He was dissapointed with the turn out. He even offered MGAC 12 spots for the price of 6 the night before. I had called Josh from 2Krucial about it, seeing as how it may have been a show more geared towards the types of show cars that they have. I don't remember the exact number that he said Cobo would hold, but they were only like at 1/3 of the number they could have gotten in there. That's why I think HIN decided not to come back.

Right, I know...thats what I told them, but they haven't reserved a room and think none will be available the day they come in.

Be aware also, Silent, that there are potholes large enuf to eat your car right near where you guys will be going! (I use to work right across the street also.) Wouldn't wanna hear of any damage happening before the show!

The guys I know are from the Chicagoland Accord Club...so I'm trying to help them out as best as I can with stuff.

Oh and I'll make sure I stop by where you guys are at and say hi
