Thumbs down Wheels Next FRAUD

This is a copy of the letter I sent the BBB in FL for that Sh*tty company.

"I called and bought rims from this company on 2/16/04. At time of purchase, the sales person said that they would arrive within 3 to 4 business days. I received the tires and rims on 2/24/04, more than the time stated. When I opened the boxes, I discovered they had sent me the wrong size tires with my rims. I ordered and paid for 215/45/17 tires, not the 205/40/17 sale tires that they sent. I called a couple of days later to get a pickup date scheduled for the rims. After another week, they finally sent UPS to pick the products up. I had spoken with the sales manager, Jovy Sardinas about compensation for my wasted time without a car, and he assured me that upgrading the size of tires AND rims, at no cost, would be fine. After speaking with him, and getting the run around, being transferred, and ignored, left on hold, and hung up countless times, I spoke with Jesus Leon, operations manager. He said it was a factory mistake, and it would be taken care of, as soon as my rims were picked up, my new rims would be sent. Another week has gone by, and the rims did not arrive. I called my cust. service rep. Carlos Ortega, who said that the rims would be shipped at the end of that day, 3/5/04. Carlos and I spoke numerous times about my rims before that date. I had a legal assistant working for the Dept. of Justice contact the company on 3/9/04, after I was ignored all day on 3/8/04 for inquiring about an shipping or order confirmation. The legal assist. learned on 3/9/04 that the new wheels were on back order for another month. At no time was I called or emailed to be notified of this. I immediately cancelled my order, and am in the process of getting the funds transferred back to my credit card. I am filing a complaint because of the severe lack of responsibility and complete disregard of financial obligations that this company has shown. I work for the Dept. of Justice as well, and know fraud when I see it. Punitive action should be taken against Wheels Next for such issues. Thank you."

Angry

I also told them I was going to make it my personal crusade to ruin the company's name by telling everyone, everywhere, how they royally screwed me. In a perfect world, this would get their merchant account revoked or suspended. But in the real world, this won't even make a dent. Anyway, if you can, don't use them, they have terrible customer service, provide no shipping info, tracking numbers, and have no idea what they are doing. They don't even have answering machines that work!! BEWARE!!

Black Death

P.S. this all started with a cracked chrometech...

You should have left that out, because that makes your complaint somewhat laughable.

Fraud? I don't see where this company is PURPOSELY BEING DECEITFUL just to steal your money. P1ss poor service, yes, but "faking" something to steal your money, no. You got rims and tires when you ordered didn't you???

You need to drop your crusade because you are looking like a joke. This company is not in business to focus on one person's problems all the time. They have other people to deal with, hence why they are ignoring you. Like I said, I don't doubt the customer service is poor and needs to be stepped up, but I doubt they are purposely out to rip you off.

This is the new rims I ordered, what do you guys think?

Phoenix II

I got 225/40/18 nankang ns II rubber along with my chrome 18"s.

Hopefully this time, with this other company (victoriatires.com), it won't be such a cluster f***.

No, I didn't get my rims when I ordered them. They said, 3-4 days, I had the wrong ones arrive a week later. I don't doubt they are busy, but when I speak to the company manager, and nothing is done, I get lied to my face, yeah, I'm gunna be ****ed about it. Maybe ur right, it's not downright fraud, but if the company is built upon the business they do with individuals, then they at least need to meet some sort of standards with those individuals. And as far as being deceitful, yeah, having me sitting here on my ass waiting for something they KNEW was not coming and didn't bother to even send an email is deceitful. Am I on crazy pills here? Wouldn't you be ****ed if you paid 1000 something dollars, and still have to roll in a rental after a freaking month with your "new" rims off in la la land?

So you work for the dept of justice, are going to use that as a tool, and don't know the difference between slander and libel?

Dude, chill out...if you aren't happy contact your credit card company. Trust me, they will work it all out.

I had a timing problem wtih wheelsnext too. I ordered a tuner's special, and they called me back 2 days later and said that they were out, to pick a dif. wheel. I said that i didnt want a dif. wheel, so they ordered mine from ADR directly, and then upgraded my tires. It only took a month longer that expected to get everything!

So let me get this straight...

You aren't OUT any money, you just have to wait a little longer to get the order fixed...

They didn't give you any flak about the correction of the order, you just had to be transferred to the right person to do it...

And on top of all of it, you throw in your big fancy title hoping to personally overthrow their business with a BBB complaint?

Does anyone else here see a massive ego problem?

And did GM deliver your car on jack stands? Where are your stock rims/steelies? Yeah, you might have to wait for the rims that you want, but people who do custom work understand that setbacks happen. I guess I'm just not used to 'right now, right now, right now... and on a silver platter' mentality.

They are working on it and willing to correct the issue. There are a lot of worse situations to be in...

I'm getting tired of this thread, a mod should kill it already.

1. Did you even bother to read the post? I cracked the rim, so bad that I can stick my finger through it. I can't drive on a donut for a month, especially when I have to work everyday.

2. I'm a (OA) Tech working for the doj, not a fancy job, and my title isn't "Department of Justice". If you worked at Kmart, would your title be Kmart?

3. I do custom, I wait patiently, but when I have to ask for rides, rent a car, and am told something will be delivered soon, I trust that. THEY NEVER EVEN TOLD ME IT WAS GOING TO BE DELAYED.. No order confirm.. No shipping confirm.. No ups tracking info.. NO NOTHING. It's like they're running the business out of their garage. Does everyone get that??

4. And finally, yeah, I got tons of "flak" for THEIR error. The answering machines don't work, customer service doesn't have a set time that they come into work, they're not open on the weekends, and if you get put on hold, forget it cause u'll be there for a hour or 2 just waiting to GET HUNG UP ON.

I have a job, I have to commute 40 miles to get to it. I've been out of my GT for 4 weeks. Their fault, not mine. I was patient, I paid on time, I waited, FOR NOTHING. I complained, they gave me lip service about upgrading my order at no charge. Then I found out that they were on backorder for another month or more. They didn't even know how much longer it was going to take. THEY KNEW NOTHING.

If you wanna bend over and take lousy service, that's your problem. I don't call it an ego problem, I paid for a product that never showed up. I think that gives me good reason to be mad.
This is the problem with big corporations and even our own government, they forget that the "little ppl" are what everything runs on.

I just expect better service. Don't think that's asking too much. No silver plate mentality, I work my a$$ off to be able to afford stuff, I expect a certain standard. And I don't think the company will fall over because the BBB sent a letter, with the way things are at Wheels Next, they'll probably never get it.

Well if your tired of the thread don't wait for the moderators to kill it. Do it yourself, your the thread starter.

Sorry about your problems, but this is life. Your letter to the BBB is just a waste of your time and there's. Bad companies are everywhere, nothing you can do about it.

Again, read the post, I already cancelled the order, just got my money back yesterday, Already ordered new rims, they are already on their way, from another company.. that gave me order confirm, shipping confirm, and ups tracking info. Even faxed a copy of the order to me. But I guess all of that is irrelevant to some of you that wouldn't mind paying for stuff and not getting anything in return..

I'm not even mad anymore, I don't need to chill. I'm fine.

And I have a copy of Black's Law sitting on my desk. I know the definitions. I don't need you to teach me about the law. That's what I went to college and am going to law school for. I know the first is oral, and the second is written or visual. I guess I should have been more specific, I am not only complaining online in forums, but anyone that I speak with as well. My bad, next time I'll call all of you personally to get my point across so nothing is taken out of context.

Do all of you get that I was just trying to tell you to be careful if you were going to order from this company. Next time, let me know, I'll save my time, and when the same happens to you, I'll just laugh at your misfortune. This is probably the first time I've even mentioned I work for the Gov. It's not like i've got the seal tattooed on me or something. Wanna give me sh*t about it, fine, I don't care. Hope we're done now.

hell we should delete ALL the threads on these boards, since it seems that we all lack simple reading at a freshman level

The purpose is not to vent, fume, be a nusance, get rediculous replys, or be asked more questions, the purpose it to WARN others, and make sure everyone is aware of the specific company to avoid future problems with fellow *members*...... or laymens terms a *HEADS UP*..... good old FYI

you had great intentions blackdeath, but unfortunately you learned the hard way that people just dont give a fucc, or have *wise* statements to satisfy their low IQ's, which is typical of these little grand am boards

if I were you, id pull the thread, and immediately start another titled *WHEELS NEXT- I highly recommend*....... Id just love to see a couple of folks get screwed around here
