Paint project: dash - interior (DAsh/doors done)
I dont think ive painted as much in my life as i did yesterday. When the dash and doors are done the color will be solid like the top portion of the doors. And tonight i have to finish adding the last few coats of paint to the dash and doors.
3 coats primer on each door. 4 layers of silver along top edge of door 3 coats primer on dash 2 coats silver on dash (hense the spottiness still) 2 layers of blue on the bottom half of the door (spotiness also)   And my gf even rewrapped my sub box for me in silver felt.

yeah dood, its gonna look killer when its all done. I'd suggest take a box, like a x-mas box,and cut it out and slise that between then dash and the windshield. then you wont get paint on the windshield.

....put tape and newspaper (yea straight ghetto it) along the windshield so you dont get paint on it...just a suggestion
looks good though, you got a lot of stuff in that car, cant wait to see it when it's done...or will it ever end??

foam brush effect
look at the top silver on my door panels. thats foam brush and 4 layers of paint. thats how the dash will turn out. you just have to do thin layers and spread the paint far

its thin layers and my camera sucks for picking up bles
i added the 3rd coats tonight and its taking the color now i wanted. i now need a propane heater though becasue this crap from home depot sucks

fokin crap!!!
it got to cold and i got 1 layer on last night (chris) and the paint wasnt settling and its pretty much a wasted coat so i went off and had to order a propane heater with 20gallon tank ($140)...so now i have to wait 3-5 days for the heater to get here, but when it does...mmmmmmmmmmm toasty warm well guess sat im going for brake and accum install with no dash just a gauge cluster ...fun times
