i've seen most on car lots...although yesterday i saw an old man driving a silver one...it looked sweet coming up on it...it was just past dusk, not too dark...the light reflecting off the side was really cool....i still hate the front end though...just not aggressive enough, but i like the rest of it

i do!! since the 4-speed's gas milage sucks, and i like autos more than manuals. they just got a new GTO at the Pontiac dealership here too. black and a 6-speed. i have yet to see one on the road though. gonna bring the camera today and get some pics while im there. stupid PCV valve elbow thingy broke in half while i was tryin to change it. it was all dried and cracked! all autostores didnt have it so dealership better! so for now, pimpin in my g/f 96 green saturn sc1. but that GTO is sweet! i personally like em, especially if they make it look like that autocross GTO and have a hood scoop or somethin. that'll be sweet.

I havent seen one on the road here either. I pass a dealership on the way to my g/f's house and they have a yellow one with a different style chrome wheel. They had them on a silver one too, is that an option on them or is that just something else the dealer adds to sell it?

Talking Is it me?

Is it me or is that guy sitting in the GTO in that first piccy have a huge grin on his face, honestly I would too.

Still doesn't beat that Pontaic GTO commercial where they show close-ups of the car and they zoom out to the rear and have it smoking the tires with the engine at full song, you just have no idea how good that sounds with a killer 5.1-7.1 system

It made all my friends sitting around *we were watching a b-ball game* take real quick notice; the next 20 minutes was spent talking about the car and how much they want it after seeing the commercial

P.S. On a funny note, did you know there is a mad little drift version of the GTO that will compete in the wonderfull world of drifting compititions here in the states. I've seen some sick pics of the car in action and they are difinetly worth seeing (because who wouldn't pass up pics of a GTO sliding sideways and smoking it rears wildly!) Its good stuff, real good stuff............

I know it is your opinion VTech, but what is so "awesome" about it?

It DOES look like a stretched out Cavalier, is plain, has no trunk space, 245 tires on it , ugly wheels. The car is 100% BLAHH

I have seen a few on the road. The only thing that turned my head to even notice was the V8 rumble. Otherwise I unfortunatley have to admit the looks were a little on the boring side. Looked good and clean, just did not see the "Pontiac Excitment" look but rather the "big V8 Cavalier" look.
