SES, ABS, Trac Light after Eibach Install

Ok, I know someone else had this posted up a while back (couple/few weeks or so). I just finished installing my stuff today. 3hr install by myself....came out good I think. I just hope nothing falls off .

Anyways, went for a test spin and the first thing that comes up is the SES ABS and Trac light. I don't remember hitting any of the wires or anything near the brakes. What could cause this, and how can I get rid of it?

BTW, I tried search, but found very little because searching forums usually sucks.

I'd say this is one of the top 5 topics here... iirc, sensors on the hub. Did you try pulling your battery to reset everything?

I disconnected the positive for about a min. Also turned the key on with the bat unplugged (thats how I had to reset my truck when I had it...dunno if ponti is differ).

Anyways...I hope I dont have to replace the hub or anything....it just came unplugged. Is there a special way to plug it back in??

Check the contacts, make sure they aren't dirty.. other than that should be only one way for it to fit.

Please from now on when you are disconnecting the battery, negative terminal comes undone first and put back on last - you'll learn the hard way after you don't connect the positive quick enough and pop all your main fuses :\

ok well....I tried the unhooking of the battery for a half hour. Didn't work. It did reset everything though. It also reset it yesterday, because I remember it changing my time to 1:00 both times I did it.

That's what I though. Did you ever get it fixed or is it still screwing with ya?

I'm just gonna drive around until I get my alignment done. I'll have them check it out at the same time (week or so).

Pressing the Trac Control does nothing for me....hrmmm. That's the first thing I tried too. Did you check to see what error codes you are getting? Actually now that I think of it, didn't you start a thread about your problem?

Mine was just unplugged though. I drove like 2 miles to test the springs with it unplugged. That shouldn't have damaged it eh? There's no dirt in it, and the contacts are all clean. I'm confused. I don't know if there is like a special reset or something they gotta do to the ecu to shut it up.

I dont have a warranty

I dunno though, because I read in another thread that resetting the ECU sometimes will not get rid of the error code (which causes the lights to come on). You need to reset it via the computer (the thing they hook up).

I remember when one of my vacume hoses melted (dealers fault...it was touching the header or something like that) they used the computer to reset the ecu error database...whatever the proper name is for it.

I'm thinking I'm ok since I plugged the wires back in, I just need a reset.
