With a redone 2005 gto......wil there be cheap 2004 gto's on the horizon

I was looking for input!!!!!

ANy chance of the 2004 g.t.o. being a $10,000 car in a few years??????????????

the c5 corvettes prices are dropping like crazy with a c6 on the horizon. My friend watched his 1996 mustang cobra loose over $5,000 in value with the intro of the 2003 supercharged one. I said when the gto came out it would make a nice $10,000 daily driver. The reception to them has been lukewarm at best so I feel it is possible. I would gladly dump my 2002 gt if the right price came along on one of those.

Anyone seeing this happen?????????????

fo44rd, your logic and post make absolutely no sense.

And a $5000 drop in a 8 year old Mustang Cobra, uhmmm, that's not much, it did that a year after he had the car whether someone wants to admit it or not. Look at the cost of a 2003 SVT compared to a 2004.

NO, Any car you own will lose value its a waste of time, trying to see weather or not they will retaind there vaule, I say just drive them till they are paid off any car you buy, you will lose money on. Its not even worth trying to find the best car's resale value. No car holds there value in todays market.

In about 2008-2010 you should be able to get an '04 around $10,000. Start saving your pennies now and you should be able to afford one by the time the 2009 models come out

LT1 camaro/trans am dropped after LS1

Look at Lt1 powered f-bodies (camaro/trans am)........they have dropped in value tremendously after their LS1 versions were introduced. I have seen them drop as low at 4 to 5 grand......grant it they are pushing 100,000 miles

My point is you can get a really nice LT1 f-body for under $10,000

If you want a really nice low mileage LS1 f-body it is still over $20,000

Think LS1 (350 horse) engined dull bodied 2004 g.t.o. versus LS2 (at least 400 horse) engined better looking bodied 2005-above g.t.o's.......in 3 to 4 years sitting on used car lots, ebay motors, etc.........what gonna bring better $$$$$$ and what is gonna be yesterday's news????????

by the time the GTO is 10 grand, there are going to be a million better cars out there to choose from. Hell, there are already a million better cars out there right now and the GTO just barely got here.
